Fantastic, easy to use!
Very very pleased with this company and products. I purchased these to use with their mylar bags to store food *in case* of TEOTWAWKI. You never know in this climate if supply lines may suffer, so I have some dried foods put away just in case. Also, if there is some problem with inflation, or you know if the value of the pound goes way low, I feel a bit safer having a few things stashed away.So now I may have convinced you that I'm not crazy, I can tell you about the product. Firstly, they work! quite a good point for these kind of things. I've attached photos to show. I used their mylar bags which are great (from what I've read online, they are a thicker version than those most commonly available in America, so I'm pleased they sell the good one). You basically just put your stuff in the bags, seal it about two thirds with a clothes iron, then when you have completed that stage you QUICKLY put these oxygen absorbers into the bags, or get your partner to, whilst QUICKLY sealing the remainder of the bag with a clothes iron. You have about 15 minutes so work fast!!! I have also read that it is easier to use a hair straightener to seal the bags but I don't have one so just used the clothes iron, which worked well enough, but a hair straightener may help to work faster. If you are unsure of the process just pop over to youtube and there are many videos showing you how to do it. Practice on one first before you start! You must avoid wrinkles/creases or oxygen will get in. The process is actually really simple, this was my first try and messed up only 5 out of 50 bags. Just practice and follow instructions and it's really easy.I will certainly be buying more mylar bags and oxy absorbers from these guys as soon as I have the funds to do so. I completely recommend these products (I'm writing about the bags in this review purely because you can't really use the absorbers for anything else other than with those bags, so it makes sense to me to cover both)The pictures I attached are of bags that were done 25 days ago, and as you can see by the slight vacuum effect, they are properly sealed and all good. (do check them after a few days just in case it isn't sealed properly) They do not vacuum completely because only the oxygen is removed. NB our air is *not* made of *only* oxygen. You remove the oxygen only which slows any degredation of the food product. You still have nitrogen in there, they will not deflate entirely, you should expect a slight deflation, not a total one.

Great absorbers
The oxygen absorbers and mylar bags from Fresherpack work great. I tried them for the first time. Because of the lockdown, so many people started baking their own bread that the grain mill where I had been getting my grain for more than 20 years stopped delivery because they ran out of stock. I was looking for a way to store grain so that I would always have a supply. Grain can be stored in wooden grain boxes for about 2.5 months, but after that the eggs laid by the wheat weevil hatch and the grain can no longer be used. So I looked for something else to prevent that and ended up with mylar bags. I read numerous websites and watched youtube about its use. I eventually ordered them from Fresherpack 20x30 cm with oxygen absorbers from the same company. You have to work fast when using this. I did 1 kg. grain in a mylar bag and processed 5 bags at a time. I sealed the bags three-quarters with an iron. Finally, I opened the bag oxygen absorbers, took out five of them, and vacuumed and sealed the remainder super-fast in a foodsaver bag. I added the five bags of oxygen absorber to the mylar bags, after which I manually squeezed the last air out of the bag and sealed all five within 2 minutes. I put them on the table expecting they would be somewhat vacuumed after 24 hours. But the result was already there after 1 hour. I was very surprised, but also very happy. Bags and oxygen absorbers work like a charm.

Don,t bother
I used 10 initially in myler bags with rice and pasta and put the rest of the o2 absorbers in a ziplock bag the next day 5 of the 10 mylar bags had compressed with 5 still had air in them,on one of the uncompressed bags of rice ,l got another bag filled that with the rice and put the same o2 absorber in heat sealed it etc. The next day still no compression on the bag so cut that bag open filled the rice into another mylar bag with a new o2 absorber this time it worked. But half of the o2 absorbers didn,t work( and they were flexible to handle) wasting my time and bags.l won't buy this product again ,got to page 2 or 3 for for alternative absorbers as on page 1 theres only 3 o2 absorber to chose from it's strange that the rest are on subsequent pages or turn up on the suggestion box, have ordered another brand and hopefully these will work.

Work perfectly
I use these in lightly vacuumed & sealed bags of wet biltong and the biltong lasts for over 6 months (if we don't eat it in the meantime!) without moulding or drying out - it stays quite moist with good colour.

Poor quality
I used them for homemade dehydrated chicken treats for dogs. Popped the oxygen absorber in with the dehydrated chicken in an airtight jar ... The next day the oxygen absorber had gone hard, used some more and the exact same has happened ☹️ very poor quality. Will look else were in the future.

4 out of 10 worked so far
So far I have used 10 of these in my Mylar food storage bags. Out of the first 10, only 4 Oxy Ab has worked correctly.

sachet 50% inefficace
