Don’t forget to buy rear cargo light very easy to install and works great
I originally bought the other brand of interior bronco lights, but my friend who is a mechanic and was going to install them for me, hesitated to cut any wire that leads to the computer so I ended up sending them back. I then watched a video on the Mabbitt lights And saw you did not have to cut any wires so I ordered them it took my friend about 25 to 30 minutes to install the lights. They work great. One of the YouTube videos had a tip about putting a little notch in behind one of the lights in order to not pinch the wires he did that with , the side of an electric drill bit worked well. So much brighter when the door is open or when you need light in the vehicle. I have a lot of Molly panels and other things in the vehicle so light does not reflect around as easily with the factory lights in the first place. Would absolutely purchase again . The nice thing was no using pry tools pretty much everything that had to come off was bolted on and bolted back in place. Only thing I missed in the video I watched was it connects to the rear cargo light which did make the whole process quite easy .

Great light upgrade!!
These lights improved my lighting 1000%. Super easy to install and minimal visual impact. You can’t even tell there are lights installed. Wiring was easy with clear instructions. Excellent quality lights.

They work on a 2025 Heritage
Installed on 2025 Heritage. Two back passenger reading lights to choose from, I picked the left side passenger for install. Still plenty of length in harness to wire both sides as needed. At first use they all worked as normal, with switch to turn on all domes, and also when opening the door. While testing, when you use the switch to disable all domes when you open the door (no lights come on at all) then return to normal operation, the new lights did not work while the original lights did. I sat in the vehicle and played with the switches; the new lights worked only by using the "all domes" switch, but not when the door opened. To fix it and return to getting the lights to work the way they're supposed to, I stepped out of the vehicle and locked it with the fob, then opened the door by grabbing the outside door handle and now all the lights are working again as normal. If you install and they don't work as they should, just play with the switches on the inside and/or lock with fob from outside the vehicle like I did.... they should start working correctly again. Mine did. They make it so much brighter inside, well worth the cost.... actually a bargain for the lighting problem that these lights correct.

Functionality is not what you would expect.
Installation was straight forward. I would recommend you find the various youtube videos on these devices and use that rather than the instructions they provide. PROS - Very Bright - Easy Installation when using Youtube videos - Nice Plug N Play CONS - Lights do not come on right away with the default Bronco lights when you unlock or open the door. It takes 15 seconds for the lights to come on. If you are using these to feel safe at night, these will disappoint you. You could unlock the car, be in the seat and off driving before these lights even come on. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. - When you exit the vehicle and the default dome lights go off, these lights will go off. (OK, that works as expected) - If you are driving and turn on the dome lights manually for the full cabin, they come in instantly with the dome lights and go off instantly with the dome lights when you turn them off. (OK, again, as expected) So how was it designed to wait 15 seconds before coming on when unlocking or opening the door? I am trying to see if I am doing something wrong here, but frustrating. - There has been an instance after only 1 week were they stopped working all together. I disconnected them from the jumper plug and right back in and they work again. Not sure why they stopped working. I would love to hear from the vendor to see if I am doing something wrong. I will correct and update my rating accordingly, but as of right now. Not what I expected. UPDATE: Dropped to 1 star. Like others, occasionally, the lights stay on after door is closed even if original dome lights go out. Had to unplug and plug them back in to get them to shut off. No confidence in reliability for owning for such a short time.

Lights Up the 2 Door Interior Well
Got these for $73 before tax, which seems an OK price, but not GREAT for the materials. The hold downs are plastic, which is generally fine, but the front sits on top of my aftermarket grab handle. I torqued the screw for the handle and it seems solid, but I'd feel better if it were aluminum rather than plastic in that stack up. I greatly dislike working with interior plastics and wires, but installation was reasonable. The instructions stink, definitely look at some videos if you have questions. After install, I do tend to look right into the opposite side light when looking into the interior, which is not great for my night vision. Four things to note: 1) I think it would be easier to install when the top is off, 2) there are left and right side lights. Look at them closely as the LED panels inside are angled at 45 degrees and you want them facing down toward the cabin, 3) there is not many places in the stock plastics to get the wiring harness out at the light end which leaves some excess wire in the area of the removable roof panel clamp (I ran the wires outside the rear roof section bolt down clamp and will reassess the wiring the next time the roof is off, I may want to drill a hole in the plastic), and 4) the stock cargo light was a pain to remove and I mangled the stock retaining clip which are on the ends. If you can reach in under the plastic and push the clip inward while trying it out, it may help. That said, it is a pretty well thought out system and they are a huge improvement over stock lighting. The wiring harness was plenty long for a 2 door, not sure how that would be for a 4 door. The lights are not obtrusive looking. Here in the Pacific Northwest we live much of our lives in darkness and the stock Bronco lighting is very poor. I bought the cargo light, too, which I reviewed separately.

Super Bright. Super Great. Terrible Instructions.
Purchased these lights to light the really dark cabin of my Bronco. Installation was easy. It took maybe, 15 minutes. Initially they worked great. Bronco sat for a few hours, they didn't work at all when I opened the door. Unplugged them, plugged the back, they again worked great. Bronco sat again. Opened the door, nothing. Got on a chat with Amazon, a replacement unit was send out and I got the same result with the new unit. After hours of frustration and Googling fixes none of which worked, I happened across one saying you had to adjust the settings of your map lights for these lights to work properly. Frustrated and pissed off I tried it what have I got to lose at this point? The lights work great. They turn off/on when the door is open/closed. I gave them a 3 star because this CRUCIAL step was left out of the already terrible instructions. Had it been included, it would have saved me (and countless others) hours of toying around, it would have saved Amazon from sending a replacement and it would have saved me the unnecessary frustration. Buy them, install them, then mess with your map light settings (both sides).

Great addition and very easy to install.
Works as advertised and is easy to install. Trim tool really isn't needed, just pull the little plug out of the rear crossbar cover and with your fingertips, pry downward to get the front edge of the cover to release. Reach up and over the cover to press the lock tabs that will let the factory light pop out of it's socket. You can use the socket tool your Bronco came with to remove the airbag curtain covers and then route the harness forward on each side, plug in the four lights, tuck the harness back behind the airbag covers with the bolts partially threaded in so that the harness sits on top of the bolts and won't interfere with the airbag if it goes off in a crash. With the four lights attached pull the harness slack from the rear where the light switch is located. Snug all the bolts back into place and then snap the center cover back in plug in the factory dome light, and replace the little plug you pulled off initially.

Remove the hard top panels or fold down the soft top
Well worth the money. Why these were not installed factory? Very easy installation with hand tools by myself it took maybe 30 minutes. A trick I learned to speed up the installation is take the panels off. Man it sped up the installation. Now off to the next upgrade.

Lights - Bronco - Action
This is an absolute day 1 must for any Bronco owner as the vehicle is a dark cave at night without it. Installed on a nice summer day, takes a bit of time but is easy enough. My tip I haven’t seen anywhere in any review is to install with roof on but open the latch and for the passenger side front seat just lift the roof up with ur head. I remember having trouble with just that side with the roof on but lifting it up just a couple inches while I put the light in did the trick. 5/5 although they aren’t not perfect. They will at times although not often, have a mind of their own. They will stay on at times. Turning vehicle off/ on can fix this glitch. It’s rare. These are the best ones you can get. Way better design than the IAG. The wiring is much better. Easier to install.
