This is a terrific bench for a great price. The bench part works great for such a reasonable price. I use this bench entirely for bench press and to hold weights between shrugs/other upper body exercise. It is very lightweight and easy to set up. It lives outside on my upstairs deck so I can get some fresh air while exercising. However, I'm not sure I'd ever really use it for squats. While I guess it could hold a bar in the stored away set-up, it seems that it might be a bit stable and there isn't much room for an unsteady step back before hitting the pad.

Was looking for an inexpensive weight bench for my son to start lifting. Checked local stores an CL and couldn’t find anything decent under $100. Searched Amazon and found this one. The price was right with free prime shipping so, I took a chance. It arrived in one undamaged heavy duty reinforced box. I decided to let my 13 year old put it together. With a little guidance it went together pretty smoothly. It even came with the tools required to assemble. The instructions weren’t bad but, not perfect. There were no missing parts and he had the whole thing assembled in under a half hour. The finished product is sturdy and looks really nice. The steel tubing is pretty heavy gauge and the paint is good quality. The bench is well padded and the cover seems like it will be durable. It folds up nicely and it should last a while. The only negative comment he had was that the supports seem to be a bit close together. A little narrower than the width of his shoulders so, right about where he feels his hands should be. Should be fine as he grows though. Overall, a good quality first bench at a good price.

For $82 bucks, it's not the worst. I did run into some issue mentioned in other reviews. Improperly drilled holes, extra or missing bolts. And yes the instructions are not dummy friendly. But if you count the amount of each type of bolt and screw etc (very apparent if you take the time to look) you can figure out exactly which matches the numbered instructions. They do look very similar but its also obvious by which fit into which hole. Yes, it was a bit annoying, but I got it together with common sense and deductive reasoning. Once it was together it works fine. I am a large man weight wise (above average height, but below 6ft). It's obviously not high end, and can feel a little Jiggly (the holder bars are just held in with a tab holder and some rubber stoppers so it feels wiggly, but they are secure. I'd over tighten stuff just to be safe, but feels sturdy for a big guy like me. If you're on a budget, it's a good buy. I now have a usable bench set up wit weights for under 200, it'll do the job for now.

We finally got to step 2 or 3 and these parts do not align. I have read these instructions over and over and over to make sure I’m doing it correctly and I have the right parts that they sent, but there is a drill hole missing and I cannot connect this bar to the seat. I have seen others report the same issue unfortunately it was after I purchased. I am outside of my return window so I contacted Amazon to try to contact the seller and Amazon has told me three times in a chat that I will be issued a full refund. That has never happened. I would stay away from this product because you can’t even set it up to see how it works. you can see in my photo how these parts do not align. Update: I called the seller directly and offered to pay for a replacement part and because I’m outside of my window they won’t even help me with that. I do not recommend anything from this company because there is absolutely no guarantee that you can even assemble the product that they send you. You’re literally just giving them money for cheap metal and screws that don’t go together to create anything that resembles a usable weight bench.

I had only three criteria when I was looking for my workout bench. A price that would fit into my budget, the stability to securely hold 220+ pounds of barbell weight (plus my body weight of 190 pounds), and the ability to fold up due to my relatively small in-home gym space. This product met and exceeded all my criteria and expectations! I believe it says it can hold up to 330 pounds. I have a basic 220-pound weight set this barbell spotter rack and bench are more than sturdy and adequate for this amount of weight, and then some. It is an extremely easy one-person assembly. I got it finished 45 minutes plus, (less than the stated 60-minute assembly time.) I used the provided tools to assemble the barbell rack and weight bench but then pulled out my tools for the final tightening. That would not have been required but my last thorough tightening was more for my peace of mind. All the pieces fit together with ease, which is not always the case with metal-on-metal assemblies. All the hardware and pieces were in great shape. The instructions were easy to follow too. If I have one negative to insert here the Hardware listing was a tad confusing (to me at least.) A few bolts and nuts were duplicated in #1 to #14 hardware listing. But once I figured that out I hade zero issues with the actual assembly. Since setting up my Workout Station a month plus ago, it continues to be one of the smartest purchases I have made. The price was exactly right, the quality and sturdiness of the unit is sound, and the ability to fold up the bench makes it a great space-saver in my new home gym!

It's okay... it's very wobbly and feels pretty cheap. Honestly my main complaint is that the nuts that come with it are half threaded (I am not a trade person so idk the right word for this), but basically they block you from threading it further (smaller diameter at the top than the bottom). If it let you thread it further it might be a bit more stable. I suppose I'll have to go out and buy m8 and m10 threaded nuts that don't have this half stop thing going on. Inevitably the big problem with the stability too other than that is that bench has a bar running down the middle, just a single one, and so any shift of weight to the left or right will very easily tilt you slightly to one side or the other. If it was two bars on either side of the bench (or 3, 1 for left, 1 for center (like currently), 1 for right), (or just a whole piece), than it would be more stable. As it stands, the current wobbliness and squeakiness of the setup can be not only a little annoying but also dangerous in some cases. Still, as long as you're slow and careful it's probably not a huge deal.

Assembly was slightly difficult because the instructions weret the best but it seems sturdy and has been functioning well only complaints is if your doing bench press it is pretty narrow

I just got this product and assembled it within an hour. This bench comes with a great stability, quality and sturdiness. Definitely worth the cost!!! Although, I would request if the manual can be added for helping people with the assembly.

Anleitung sehr ungenau und man musste raten welche schraube nun gebraucht wird, passgenauigkeit ist auch nicht wirklich vorhanden(ich kann die liegefläche z.b nicht festspannen im hochgeklappten modus.) Natürlich muss man den Preis beachten und kann daher nicht zu viel erwarten. Aufbau alleine ist sehr mühselig und daher nicht zu empfehlen aber es ist machbar. Ich habe beim Aufbau dann einen Sticker bemerkt das die maximal belastung der Liege fläche bei 250 lbs liegt, was für mich keinen Sinnmacht wenn eine Maximal belastung von 180KG angegeben ist. Desweiteren steck auf diesem Aufkleber das die Maximal Belastung 600Lbs wäre, wo ich mich Frage woher das dann kommt. Die Breite der Ablage Fläche ist auch ein Witz für breite Schultern. Für kleine Menschen eher empfehlenswert, ich bin 198cm Groß mit einer Schulterbreite von 55cm.
