Super durable and easy to use
This thing is super well built and really to use. The great part is it's small enough to tuck away in great hiding spaces.

Won't bend or break
I love the fact that this is a 24 word seed phrase. It takes a bit to get it set up with the little letter blocks but once it is, there is very little chance of damage. The little engravable plates that you can purchase can be bent/scratched or damaged easily. The Ellipal seed phrase steel is well worth the cost as far as I'm concerned and I will be purchasing another one soon!

The one I bought only had 3 cards of letters unusable, and waste of money

Actually....
this is stainless steel... And it's a really good grade of stainless. If I had to guess it's probably 316 stainless because a magnet wont attract to it not even in the slightest way so it could be an alloy of sorts but at rate it's worth it for that alone!

Modestly priced insurance for your crypto
The people on here complaining about the 4 characters per word available space on this device either clearly haven't used the device or actually attempted to recover a crypto wallet using a 24 word passphrase. This thing does EXACTLY WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO!You do NOT require any more than the first 4 characters of any Bip39 recovery passphrase. Period.It isn't unnecessarily large or heavy but still feels incredibly durable.It isn't something you will use often if ever, but that's the point, it's basically an insurance policy for your crypto wallets. One that won't burn up like kindle in a fire as the "paper is king" morons will.

Defective product
This product construction is poorly designed the dam screwed in screws are too tight and easy to strip the poorly designed 🪛 easily strip will be returning this product for a full refund I was only able to unscrew all of the screws and also this product is over priced

Great quality - just Works!
Works as advertised, but the letters are small and difficult to work with - so it takes a long time to finish. 0.5 to 1-hour job at least
