I love coffee
This was cost-effective and worked out great for me. Easy to fill easy to clean. And great value for the money. Saves me big time by reusing these rather than buying the capsules all the time.

Close but not Perfect
I'm a coffee fiend and have been using Nespresso for over 6 years now. I occasionally French Press my coffee or use a Vietnamese Phin and because of that I've received ground coffee as a gift on many occasions. With it stock piling up I wanted a way to burn through those grounds with the Nespresso which I use far more frequently than my Press or Phin and this is a valid solution. Does this churn out a cup of coffee? Yes. Is it espresso quality? Not really. So lets state that calling Nespresso itself espresso quality will get you looks from some coffee snobs, and while I kind of agree without becoming a full fledge barista, investing hundreds if not thousands of dollars into an actual espresso machine, on top of the dozens of hours you can expect to put into the machine monthly on prepping, warming, cleaning, maintenance as well as additional sunk costs of repair there is literally no better option to a quick *close enough to espresso* than Nespresso. So with that established Nespresso on it's own its slightly less rich or depending on blend bold than an actual cup of espresso. These pods will make a product even LESS of that, there is just no way around it because Nespresso has their retail pods down to a science and every other pod is inferior to Nespresso licensed pods. When you use pods other than Nespresso licensed you are often doing it for a better roast Nespresso doesn't have access to or to save a buck.So where is this going? The same applies here, if there is a blend you really prefer or like in my case you just have a ton of coffee to go through this is the best solution even if not perfect. It will make a weaker brew however depending on what you drink you just adapt. If you are an Americano drinker that will be insanely easy. For me a standard Starbucks Nespresso licensed capsule it's about 3 lungos that tastes similar enough to a Starbucks Grande Americano where it might as well be the same thing. If I were to do the same with these pods I would say it would probably be closer to 4 espresso shots with a blend of water to cover the difference. Just expect to use more. If you normally just drink a doppio you'll probably need to make it a triple shot to get a similar brew. So this definitely requires some experimenting to get your cup to where you want it but it can be done. Now that all said your mileage may vary depending on machines, I use an original Essenza and I know seals and puncture points are not all identical across Nespresso and especially third party machines. If your machine is producing "brown water" on the shot function, as I see described here a lot, essentially if it's translucent then you likely have an issue with the seal and most importantly it should still produce a nice crema. Lungo's do tend to get a bit more translucent but I feel that's expected again it shouldn't be completely clear but closer to what you get from a Keurig. If that's what you are getting they might not produce a good enough seal with your machine and you should probably return it. Nespresso machines brew less grounds at a higher pressure than regular espresso so that seal is key and if it's compromised at all you are essentially just getting coffee water.

Not worth it
Returned because it’s impossible to make a shot that even remotely resembles a store-bought capsule. I even took the grounds from a standard capsule and managed to compress most of it into the reusable one. The shot was still super watery. When I can get the manufactured capsules for about $0.30/each, the minimal savings isn’t worth the compromised taste and hassle.

Works ok, but Seal Pods are better.
Pro: less expensive, works decently well, comes with stickers.Cons: Has fewer holes and not quick as 'solid' as the Seal Pods. Does not contain the rubber feet/cover for the pods like the Seal Pods do.
