Love it! Coat is Excellent
Excellent, high quality down coat. Pleased with the warmth it provides. Runs slightly large and that is OK. A Patagonia puffer jacket is a perfect layer underneath. Together the two keep you as warm as you need.

Lightweight and Warm in Minus 15 Celsius!
Bought it for my senior, frail Dad, and he loves it! He refuses to layer up in Ottawa, Canada winters, so this down jacket is a blessing: he just wears his alligator t shirt and then throws this on. Sizing: it sizes LARGER than normal. I wear large tops and jackets, but when I tried my Dad’s small Marmot on, it felt like a medium to me. So I am going to order a medium Marmot for myself: it would still give me more than enough room to layer up underneath. I’m 5’9, thin waist, medium chest build. Use: my Dad is a city guy who just walks, so can’t say if this would be good for outdoor sports or not. Didn’t wear it in wet weather, but my Dad wore it in minus 15 Celsius and he didn’t feel cold in it. Highly recommend!

Very nice jacket.
Jacket fits perfectly. I am 6' 210lbs. Ordered a size XL so that I would have extra room for layers. Havent tested it out in extreme cold but took it out in the rain in 50 degree weather with just a tshirt on and was just fine. Hood is nice and spacious. Jacket is lightweight but warm. Only negative is that it says sleeves have velcro straps to tighten but the jacket doesnt. Got the jacket on sale, wouldnt pay retail proce listed on the tavo for it. Overall great jacket.

Nice puffer really keeps me warm
Really the warmest jacket I’ve ever owned. Puffer is a bit bulky, but can’t complain because it does its job.

Very warm jacket for the money, excellent for severe boreal conditions
I used this jacket in an area of Russia that experiences sub-arctic winters for fieldwork, and with proper additional layering (synthetic/wool base layer, light fleece, this jacket, and a hardshell for weather/brush protection), it was a wonderfully warm down jacket in temperatures getting as low as -30 F with strong winds. Like most down jackets, it is delicate, so I advise 1) always wearing under a hardshell if you're in the bush or another area wear tears are likely and 2) carry some tenacious tape patches with you so you can easily repair any holes that do appear. I haven't used jackets from more premium companies like Patagonia or Arc'teryx, but this jacket is definitely an excellent value for the money.

Nice coat but with a FATAL flaw
Not super-warm but moderately so, actually can stand some light rain, pretty lightweight, convenient design and good styling, doesn't launder & dry too badly (often a problem with down), and I got it on sale for a low price. You'd think I'd be ecstatic. But the fabric of both lining and outer shell is TERRIBLE. This is the most porus and fragile down-insulated garment I have ever worn. Even before you are duct-taping the INEVITABLE tears and holes, feathers WILL come through the seams and often the fabric itself. Then you go past some bushes, or bang your elbow lightly against a doorframe, stand within 20 feet of a campfire, or lean against the edge of a table, and -rrrip- goes the fabric, or you get pinholes, and out comes more feathers. And while the colors look good, both the dark and light parts seem to have the uncanny ability to attract both temporary dirt and smell and permanent stains. This looks great and is fairly functional straight out of the box. Enjoy that, because the feeling won't last. Whoever approved this fabric needs to find another line of work.

Nice design and filled with feather down. Warm and waterproof.

Sehr gute Jacke. :)

I did a lot of research before buying this jacket and because of reviews all over the net I decided on this one. When it came the package was so small I thought it must be a mistake. When I opened it the jacket looked so thin I thought it couldn't be any good. However, looks can be deceptive. It is very warm and stops the wind. The duck down has filled out so it now looks thicker. There are good pockets and the hood is great. The cuffs can be tightened to make a snugger fit. All in all I am very pleased with it and would recommend the jacket to all.
