Got these for school
I absolutely love these headphones. I would buy them again if ever needed to. They are super comfortable. The quality is great. The buttons are easy. They fit both my head and my boyfriend's head if they need to. The noise canceling effect on these are great. I am able to focus and do school work when I need it to be the ambient sound. For the most part. It still is noise canceling but you can hear things around you when you need to. The music quality on this is great. I use this for Spotify even listening to my lecture videos all of that and I absolutely love these. They fit great. They look amazing and I definitely recommend this product after having them for only a few weeks I have only had to charge them once. I don't use them on a daily basis so that's why I don't have to charge them as much. Charging is quick and simple and easy. I think it takes maybe less than an hour to get a full charge on them. Although these are new from my experience for having them for about a month. They are just a great product and worth the money.

3 years later and still love them!
I’m still using these headphones in 2026 and got them in 2023z work like day one. The noise cancelling is surprisingly good for the $63 I paid. I wear these in airplanes and I can hear very well whatever I am watching on my phone, although I mostly just turn on the active noise cancellation feature to block the engine noise and don’t even play any music or nothing. The battery life is great. I probably wore these without charging for two whole days of flying and traveling out of the country to Asia from the USA and it lasted the entire time, I was either using active noise canceling or watching inflight movies. Great product. Was looking to purchase another pair but looks like this model’s discontinued so I’ll have to give their Next Gen model a shot, but they do cost $30 more so I’ll have to wait.

An excellent "cheap" option. Read below...
An excellent option if you dont want to spring for a "premium" pair. The battery, comfort, weight, noise cancelation, and price are all great (I paid $36 on Prime). For context, I also have a pair of Bose QC3s. They dont get as loud as those(prob a good thing), and their range from high to low isnt the same. I bought these bc when I'm doing yardwork or just working up a sweat in general, I didnt want to fry my "expensive" pair. These have exceeded my expectations. Would I buy again for $40 or even $75? Yes. My ONLY gripe and the main reason they lose a star... the buttons. I have had these for months now and I still have to feel a round a bit to make sure Im hitting the button I want. There is almost nothing distinguishing the "up/skip fwd" button and the "pause/on/off" button. Weirdly, the NC button is totally separate and the "down/back" is cut to be a different height... so why not just make one more button different as well?? Small thing, but super annoying and affects every session. Best use cases: when you need long battery life, when you know theyre going to take abuse(bc of cost), for kids(bc of cost and vol limitations), or if you do a lot of audiobook/podcasts and dont care about range/bass/vol.

Made me a music junkie or audiophile,
Excellent Audio quality, I bought this for the call noise cancellation functions , which ilits awesome at + with ambient mode it can amplify outside noise up to 3 levels, so u can actually hear what's happening around and not walk around like a zombie. What surprised me to was the music, out had deep rich bass and punchy mid range.along with textured and clear high-end. I'm by no means an audiophile, but it has me hearing things I've never heard in songs I've listened for years, so much u , now is any to re listen all the music I know. It's gonna have ppl giving in backpack music junkie as I load my phone who with songs from my childhood and formatives years, when as an aspiring recording artist. Who spent my much time in the studio. Only the studio monitors compare and this isn't even the top of the line model...I used to consider ppl spending hundreds on head phones as wasting their money, but I think I get y now.. normally I'd just by cheapest Chinese air buds I can find, but this has made me a bsl5 It was ranked best headphones under $100 in 2003 , and I bought edifier cause I saw a YouTube vid comparison of earbuds under $50 and I was so impressed by the edifier call quality , I planned to buy one eventually... Well years later eventually came and will happen again quite frequently cause , I'm already planning to buy another one for recreational purposes soon

Phenomenal for the price
I don't think of myself as snobbish as an "audiophile" but I definitely have strong opinions about sound quality, comfort and connectivity. I bought these headphones along with several other pairs of bluetooth headphones. These were the clear winner without question. Initially I wasn't thrilled about lack of 3.5mm jack but I got over it quickly. I wanted a nice set of headphones for my PC. I loved them so much I bought another pair for work. The noise cancelling works great. There are forklifts and air powered tools being used in the building but at my desk I can just barely hear them. I plug in a USB C cable and use them for zoom calls instead of the cheap junk headset my work provided. Battery life has always been reliable. I have a somewhat large head and big ears and the cups fit perfectly and comfortably over my ears. I haven't tried any other Edifier products but based on these headphones I'd definitely consider them. Great for the price.

A Mix, But Not Bad Overall
I use these headphones primarily to listen to music and videos on a Windows 11 laptop. My first impression of the Edifiers is very mixed. They initially felt a bit tight on my middle-sized head, but after a short amount of wearing they are still snug, but a bit more comfortable. They stay in place well enough, but they don’t feel especially heavy or light. The ear pads are large and block a significant amount of ambient sound. They can get pretty warm after a short time, but not unbearably so. I can easily listen for an hour or so without significant discomfort. The build feels adequate, but not luxurious or bulletproof. The product description indicates that these are not foldable, but my ear pieces fold flat. The various joints are fairly sloppy, and the entirely plastic headband loses adjustment easily. This is my first experience with noise canceling. The effect is noticeable and pleasant, but not dramatic. Low frequencies are pretty well masked, higher frequencies not as much. Noise canceling is not as important to me as sound quality. The sound quality is good enough for my purposes, but not spectacular. On first listen, the sound seemed somewhat more processed than natural, and a bit thin and flat. From other reviews I knew they wouldn’t be bass heavy, which for me is a good thing. After a 4-5 hours of use, they seem to have gotten better. I haven’t used them enough to speak to full battery life, which is now at 80%. I usually use iTunes for playing my large music collection, and using the built-in iTunes equalizer makes a big difference. The presets are surprisingly good, and they make the Edifiers sound much better. It’s a bit of a pain to add another step, but the improvement is worth it. The sound when listening to speech on videos is good enough, but on some videos, I can sometimes detect a little latency. There is a game mode, but I couldn’t tell the difference. Pairing was easy, and the Bluetooth range a bit better than some of my other devices. After a day or two with no problems, I now sometimes get brief, random dropouts. I don’t know whether to blame the headphones, or interference from some other device. I can’t pin it down. A USB C to A charging cable is included, but not a charger. The buttons feel okay, but are not prominent enough, or differentiated enough, and they are spaced too close together for my large, numb fingers. I wish it had a dedicated power switch instead of a multi-function button that has to be held down to turn the power on or off. The power and ANC controls would be better on the left side. I don’t use the headphones with my iPhone, or use them to take calls, so I can’t speak to those functions. Now for the really unforgivable stuff: The included instructions are totally lacking, and in tiny print on a pamphlet made for very small ants. The downloadable pdf version is more readable, but not very helpful. I suppose the assumption is that you'll be using the app on your phone. It's inexcusable that there is no app alternative for Windows, and some of the settings and options are simply unavailable to PC users. Among other unavailable options there is supposed to be a "Standard" mode along with the Ambient, ANC and Game modes; the instructions provide no information as to what that even is. Also missing is whatever passes for an equalizer, and a battery status indicator. The manual makes no reference to it, but I found that battery status can be found in Windows under the settings for Bluetooth devices. Also totally ignored in the manual is the meaning of the various flashing blue LED patterns that come and go. In the manual for another model I found that they are likely Bluetooth status indicators, but the patterns don't really match this model. No clues on the Edifier site. Completely missing is any sort of indication as to whether the power is on or off. Sometimes the blue lights flash, sometimes they don't. This is where a dedicated two-position power switch would be very helpful. And it would avoid having to hold the power button down to turn the device on or off. The ANC is always enabled by default when powering on, instead of remembering the last used setting - that’s annoying and should be optional. How smart would a designer have to be to figure all this out? From what I understand, the phone app is a thinly veiled ad for other products and is likely to be a privacy issue. That trend is certainly unforgivable, and would be very unwelcome in a Windows app. I have little to compare these headphones with, except some older LG neckband earbuds, which sound much worse, and some even older wired Sennheiser P100 lightweight on-ear headphones, which sound a bit better and more natural. Despite the really stupid stuff listed above, the Edifiers are probably as good as I’ll get for the price. If they don’t break, I can recommend them for casual listening to music and video. For the $55 sale price, I probably could have done worse, and, at the moment, I’m planning to keep them. They’d be 4 stars except for the stupid stuff, and especially the functions lost without the app.

Activate the LDAC!
I've had these for a couple days. They were to be a temporary replacement after my nice skullcandy headphones finally broke after 7 years. I was initially very disappointed in the sound quality. I knew they wouldn't be as good as the skullcandies with bass or volume, but the overall quality was weak, music sounded so flat, even with the equalizer app, music just didn't have any punch to it even if I turned up the volume. I ALMOST packed them back in the box to return, but they fit well and I have a small head it's hard finding snug headphones (they are aaalmost too big on the smallest size, but I don't jog or workout with these, so it will be fine for home and walking). Then after watching a youtube review and reading more reviews here, I discovered I did not have the LDAC activated in my bluetooth settings, and it helped the sound quality immensely, and then I improved it further in the edifier app settings! What it is or how it works is beyond me, I'm just happy it sounds better! While the sound quality is good now, it will cut into battery time, but I have yet to drain the battery completely. And I did still get a separate EQ app to boost the bass a bit. Overall, I believe these will be a decent cheap option for headphones until I invest in a more expensive pair. Also, the noise canceling is surprisingly great for the price, and I also love the ambient sound option. Can't wait to use them next time I'm on an airplane. I didn't realize I had the ANC on by default. My husband was trying to get my attention for a full 5 minutes from another room, even followed me down the hallway and I had no idea he was even next to me, so it definitely works! 😂

Don't know about others, but this one is a real review
I don't have a ton of experience with headphones and definitely not over ear headphones. But this was a frustrating device and even more frustrating experience with Amazon. Not sure what has happened to Amazon over the years, but it has turned into poor quality products, fake reviews, and even poorer customer service. PAIR #1 The first pair worked well except the audio would cut out/pause/blip every minutes regardless of the connected device (phone, laptop). It had great range and I could walk out of the house, around to the back of the house with the device in my room and still stay connectd. The noise cancellation was decent, but I expected more based on price alone. The earpads were a very thin and soft PU leather material. It seems prone to tearing (one cat paw stepping on it and it will probably be caput), deformity (already see wrinkles that make the headphones look 10 months old), and discoloration (I got the light green). The thin nearly transparent cloth that covered the speakers definitely look like an accidental fingernail would puncture through and expose the speakers. The battery life was great BUT you cannot charge them while using them. That was my experience with both Edifier pairs that I tried. I think I only needed to charge it once in the couple of days I had to before contacting Amazon. Anyway Amazon sent me a replacement because of the sound issue. The second pair was projected to come a week later. Great Prime experience so far. Love waiting many days for their screw up. Customer service was able to expedite delivery and shaved off a few days. PAIR #2 The second pair must have been a refurbished pair or something because it was even worse than the first. I no longer had the blips every minute but the range on this particular pair was garbage. I walked 20 feet away from my device before audio started cutting out. The play/pause button worked every three tries. The audio sounded like it was underwater. I even pulled PAIR #1 back out to double check that I was not making it up. I wasn't. My favorite part of this Edifier/Amazon experience was when I tried to return them both to Kohls and be done with them. The first pair was able to go to Kohls, but the second pair did not have that option. In my experience, it is much easier than going to UPS (gotta print label, find box, find tape, go out of way). There aren't very many Amazon stores around but plenty of Kohls. I tried Amazon Customer Service and had to speak to 4 different representatives. The first 3 would randomly drop me in the middle of the conversation because they didn't understand that I just wanted a refund with a return to a Kohl's location. TL;DR? Had to try two different pairs because of defects with the original shipped pair. Turns out both had different defects or overlapped defects that contradicted what the product description stated the headphones would be able to do. Had a run around with Amazon Customer Service. Verdict?? Don't just run from Edifiers. Run from Amazon too.

Super satisfied
Excellent device, and love the color! The battery is *actually* long-lasting and the sounds quality is high. I mostly purchased them because of the noise cancelling mode, which is really good. Perfect for studying!

Well worth it but battery is not what expected
Headphones are great, sound quality is amazing and fit amazingly. Noise cancellation is "ok" better than majority of headphones however it gives outside audio a weird effect so that you can still hear what is happening around you. Battery life is good but not what promised. I spent the day in london yesterday and was using the for about 10 hours on noise cancellation mode and they died soon after. Overall great headphones but just a few things that could be better. PS: headphones do not fold up so it does take a decent amount of space in bags.
