These are awesome. What a great alternative to plastic and it’s actually biodegradable unlike lots of other products that you would assume would be it took some research, but this is the perfect alternative for me. I will definitely agree with the other reviews. It is not for hot beverages. I use them to stir my coffee sometimes and they will buckle in half with a stir or two.. but personally I wanted them for cold beverages so they were amazing good value, good quality & I like the aesthetic Obviously, easy to use lol. Lasted all day in my cold beverage without getting any weaker or less solid...

Great straws and environmentally conscience. Does collapse under high heat, as you would expect, but very sturdy for almost all uses. Good value for what you get.

I was trying to stop using plastic straws without fully committing to suffering through paper ones. These are the first ones that actually feel like a real solution. They hold up in drinks, don’t get soggy, and don’t have a paper taste. I use them for iced coffee, cocktails, clear protein drinks. They work across the board... probably nothing hot though. They’ve got a slightly firmer feel, kind of like a natural version of plastic, without the self-loathing. Not revolutionary, just a solid swap if you’re trying to do your part without hating the experience.

I finally found a good alternative to plastic straws that doesn't taste weird (like paper). I don't know wether they are actually compostable. Drinking with them is like using classic plastic straws. Some of the straws arrived a bit deformed (see image)
