Simple fix for a frustrating problem. A bit of a problem getting the springs to stay in place but still works if then fall out.

Direct replacement
These are a direct replacement rung locks for your extension ladder, easy to install , the originals on my ladder had broken off on one side so I had to use large washers but they work perfectly and now the ladder is as good as new. 10/10

I wasn't sure if these would work on my old Montgomery Ward ladder as its locks were over 12" long and these are only about 9". Because of the size difference, I had to drill new mounting holes. I bolted them in and had a new ladder. They work great. I feel foolish for not installing these new locks long ago.
