We are very pleased with this product! We bought it to replace a poor preforming cheaper model from a different brand. Yes we spent a bit more money than some of the cheaper brands but it's totally worth it and performs so much better. It genuinely cools the room and brings down the ambient temp. We got it to help keep pets cool during the heatwave. It actually cools our whole downstairs area, we have theometers set up and it drops the temperature very quickly and is fantastic at clearing out the humidity. The smart feature is very handy and means we can pop it on for a bit remotely when we are at work to keep the pets cool. Lots of features like oscillating (up and down), timers etc we've used the fan mode as well. It handles +30 C weather very well, it struggled a little on the day it hit 38 outside compared to its usual preformance but it still worked and kept it from from getting too hot inside. It is a little noisy but it's still more quiet than the cheaper one we've had. Only had it a month so I can't speak on the longevity yet but the manufacturer offer a warranty. Overall would recommend this product!

Effective though not without caveats
So the recent heat convinced me to finally pull the trigger on getting a portable ac. If I lived in a house and not a flat I think Iโd have just drove myself mad installing a proper wall one with an external compressor but this is the best I can do in my flat.I did my research around these before buying and theyโre a bit odd really cause none of them have super great reviews, always very mixed. The issue that is most common with these (that Iโm not sure how could be avoided because there are so many loud parts to an ac and youโve got it all in your room) is noise. This is loud, thereโs no two ways about it. For me I can sleep fine with it and actually quite like the white noise but I could sleep through a bomb going off. Most people will struggle with it, itโs a dull droning with occasional assorted louder sounds. When you have the temp control on and it switches the ac part on and off itโs sometimes fairly quiet, sometimes sounds like a car door closing. Personally none of this bothers me and seems ubiquitous to these units, something to be aware of though. As for the cooling itโs not as good as I hoped, getting down to 16 degrees is a hope and a dream I feel but itโs still quite good. Went from 28 to 21 degrees in a couple of hours, then 20 steadily. Havenโt tried to go lower than that cause it feels colder than that with the circulating cold air. From how the temp drop slows though Iโm sceptical of getting to 16 if it was running all day. Temp drops fairly steady, but once the ac part turns on (warms up for a min) the air is ice cold and even if the ambient temp hasnโt dropped loads yet that circulating cold air makes it feel much colder than it is. This is using it in a medium sized bedroom with the door closed.Included window seal for hinged windows is ugly but they have a YouTube vid for putting it on thatโs helpful. Not hard to do and seals decently. I found a site online to get a Perspex window sheet with a cutout so might do that down the road.Overall Iโm pretty happy with it. Itโs loud, expensive and it doesnโt cool quite as well as Iโd hoped, certainly not as well as a proper wall mounted system but itโs still quite good. It made the suffocating heat in my flat (atleast my bedroom where I have it) a comfortable cool, walking out of my room and back in with it on you can feel the huge difference even when the thermometer says itโs only lowered a few degrees.Definitely need to know what youโre getting into if you buy it but I like it. Havenโt used the app but the remote works well.

Very pleased with this unit. Excellent capability to quickly cool a large bedroom (11ft ceiling)
I'm very pleased with this air con unit. I have set it up through a window. The kit supplied with the unit was too large so I purchased one separately. If you have never installed a kit like this it is important to watch a YouTube video, of which there are a few, of differing usefulness.Setting the unit itself up was pretty easy. Read the manual is my tip.The remote control is easy to use, other than using it to setup on/off schedules. Using the Pro Breeze App on your phone is easier. Downloading and installing was straightforward as was making the wifi connection to the unit. The 12000 btu cooling capability means it does a good job bringing down the temperature quickly and then maintaining it at the temperature you have set.The vanes move rhythmically, distributing the cooled air from ceiling to floor (not side to side). It has been operated in the current heatwave temperatures for about 10 hours off and on. I haven't yet had to empty the water collection tray. I'm not looking forward to that as it seems possible that without care water could spill out onto the carpet. I will have plastic sheeting, towels and a tray on standby when/if the need arises.

Great AC Unit
During the UK heatwaves, now being more frequent, this has been a life saver! Yes, it is noisy like other reviews say but it cools a living room in a short amount of time and when in AC mode the air is ice cold. It is also very easy to set up the window kit.

Very good for small room but window seal unit is useless
Very good unit. It is efficient, works well and does the job for a bedroom. It wouldn't work in a big room, you'd need 15,000. Also, the window seal kit is absolutely useless. It lasts about 4 days and then comes unstuck. Everytime you switch it on it the thing comes loose on the window. Also, the air con unit needs carbon filters to filter smells but it doesn't.Also, it's very loud. But it's the best one I found for the price and efficiency

Made my room hotter!!!!!!!
I bought this early May - I was so happy that I had when the weather forecast was for a late May bank holiday heatwave. Fast forward to the heatwave, and I find that the unit did not work properly - it did not cool the air at all. The air which came out of the front vents (which should have been cool air) was the same temperature as what was coming out of the rear (hose and vent). The unit actually made my room hotter because the heat of the unit itself was warming the room and in the absence of the cool air which should have been getting expelled, the temperature in the room just increased. So there I was, sat in the 32 degree heat, melting, looking longingly at a duff air conditioner unit. The next ordeal was to try to pack up the unit to return it given that it is defective. I would have happily given ProBreeze another chance and had an exchange, however the only option available was to return which presumably meant that I would have had to rebuy the product, however as the price had gone up by ยฃ100 since I bought it, I decided against this.Trying to repack the item to return was an ordeal... the packaging doesn't have a fixed bottom - it's delivered on polystyrene, with a box over the top and then secured with plastic strapping which you have to cut to open the box. All fine until you need to consider returning a defective item. Lots and lots and lots of tape (and sweat) later, the package is as secure as any consumer can get it, but it could have been so much easier had ProBreeze or Amazon provided a proper box. The other issue, is that it would seem that despite being a defective item, I am having to pay for the postage. And at nearly 30kg, that's not cheap postage....! I will see how the refund process goes and see whether I have to fight for the postage refund as per my consumer rights. Not a happy bunny right now :(Update: ProBreeze refunded the item without quibble although the refund did not include the return postage cost. After reminding them that they needed to reimburse me for this as per my consumer rights. I may have been unlucky with my unit as there are many positive reviews suggesting many happy customers, however for anyone unlucky enough to have a problem, it is a real faff trying to return this item given the size and the packaging.

Amazing portable air conditioner
This air conditioner is great. It was super easy to install and It does a great job at reducing the temperature In my bedroom to a more comfortable level.Super easy to use and is on the quieter side to most others I've seen. Obviously it it still noisy due to having a compressor inside as well as a fan.As Im used to sleeping next to a fan I found it quite easy to sleep with this ac unit In The same room. The 3 downsides I have is the hinged window kit was way to big for my standard UK window so I had to order a replacement for my correct window size. While the unit is more energy efficient then others it is still a serious appliance that will cost a lot if it runs continuously. Also the pro breese app needed for it is essentially a poorly rebaged version of tuya smart life. The menus are fiddily and unclear. For example to turn the sleep mode on and if you have 2 drop down menu choices Sleep mode or sleep mode. Not a clue which one turns sleep mode on or off.I added it to my tuya app as I already have other tuya devices.I wish they developed their own app or fixed the bugs In the tuya product side.Overall I would recommend this portable air conditioner despite its downsides
