InSinkErator 75358 45/ 55 Air Switch for Insinkerator Waste Disposal Unit, Polished Chrome

This air switch look a bit expensive but it works and the buttons (2 provided) are quality. The whole thing tucks away neatly under the sink and works really nicely.

This switch works well and takes away any risk from operating a normal switch with wet hands. As others have commented this is an expensive item and should have automatically been packaged with the waste-disposal unit at a much reduced cost. Hopefully this switch will be a one-off as it should last much longer than the machines themselves.

This item is pretty darn expensive for what it is (technically it's just a switch that is triggered by air pressure coming down a pipe). However it does the job perfectly well and is a must-have add-on for the basic level Insinkerator - I wouldn't fancy operating a wall switch with wet hands! Also the switch fits perfectly in the normal sink holes you get for the taps, and the supplied brushed stainless steel button looks good with our SS sink.

Doesn't look quite like the photo image but it is an official Sinkerator Air Switch, very easy to fit and excellent quality. Great service from this retailer.

An excellent piece of kit. It works a treat. Pity it doesn't come with the insinkerator.

The switch works well, I am told easily fitted and the unit works a dream. But at £55 it's a rip off and should come with the insinkerrator itself!but other than that it's great!

Auf den Bildern ist zwar eine falsche Steckdose abgebildet, aber geliefert wurde natürlich die für uns normale Schuko-Steckdose. Der Einbau war, wie erwartet, einfach und der Schalter macht genau das, was er soll.

Ich schreibe das als Amerikaner der Jahrzentelange mit ISE gute Erfahrungen hat, aber wenn man in Deutschland ein Produkt ausliefert welches weder Schuko- noch Euro-Stecker hat oder akzeptiert, dann gehört das in die Artikelbeschreibung. Dazu kommt dass der Druckknopf im Gegensatz zum Bild hier als auch zum Bild auf der Verpackung obenauf nicht glatt ist, sondern eine Verzierung hat. Laut Beschriftung der Verpackung ist "Gebürsteter Stahl auch enthalten". Ich nehme an mit "auch" ist der einzige Knopf gemeint den man sieht. Wenn ein schwarzer Knopf dabei ist (den ich brauche) kann man ihn nicht sehen. Oder aber die "Stahl"-Ausführung ist nur eine Verblendung unter der der schwarze Knopf ist. Ich habe die Verpackung nicht geöffnet und gehe davon aus dass das Teil technisch einwandfrei funktioniert. Aber soweit das zu testen wird es hier nicht kommen. Klar, dass Bild hier aus Amazon ist von einem US-Stecker-Gerät. Aber das konnten sie ja wohl nicht Ernst gemeint haben. Einfach alles nicht gut. Schade.
