Q: What’s the ambiance level of the multi streams? I’m replacing a fish tank and want the same mild water noise.

Compared to other fountains of similar size, this one is fairly loud and has a lovely sound. Of the 5 I ordered to test & choose one, this one provides most the water sound.

Q: How often is does water typically need to be refilled?

It depends on how often you run the fountain. When you hear the pump make some noise or bubbles comes out of the fountain. I t means its pumping air. We recommend to refill often.
