Trip Machine Company Leather Motorcycle Grips Wrap Caffeine

These actually made my grips handle better in my sportster and low rider s . It feels nice in the palm. Grips well with or without gloves. Ages well too. Starts to look better over time. Easy to install and have stayed on after 6 months of daily throttle abuse. The amount of compliments I get in these alone make it worth the price . It’s 3m so you just peek and wrap. That’s it. I paired these with a brown leather seat and wow.

Installation is really tricky (at least for me - lol). Practice a little before attempting final installation. My first one was perfect! I started at the outer part of the grip, then when you get to the inside part, cut off the end so that it looked nice and neat. I also used the included superglue on the final 1/4 - 1/2 inch. looks beautiful & feels good (although both grips are now very slippery - I hope that gets better).Now the bad news (for me). I horribly bungled the other grip installation! I wrapped the grip unevenly & and so it looks awful, and doesn't feel as good as the other one. TOTALLY MY OWN FAULT. I could have probably simply unwrapped it and started over, as the instructions clearly state. But it was a little dark in the garage and I didn't realize how bad I messed up. To make matters worse, I also cut the end to fit & used the superglue.Very happy & satisfied with the quality, look (the cherry red), shipping, delivery, and price. I've purchased a few of Trip Machine products (tool roll, roll top backpack) and they're all top quality, handmade by craftsmen who embrace the riding lifestyle and get it. These leather grips are in the same category - high quality, cool retro look, fair price. I installed these on my Triumph Bonneville T120 and they look and feel great. I wanted a little color accent and leather feel and they fit the part. One thing that I wasn't expecting - they make the bike feel more stable, handle better. What I mean is that the diameter of the grip is now slightly larger and it makes the ride feel more stable, smoother. It's a little hard to put into words, similar to how different diameter steering wheels on a car make it feel different. Anyway I really like it and my grip heater elements still penetrate through (it just takes a little longer to warm up). Trip Machine makes such quality stuff that I'm always looking for something else to add to my retro-style bike. Ride safe my friends.

The leather wrap is a very aesthetically pleasing hand wrap. I've been using the stock grips for a while and it became very faded, I thought about buying new grips however I came across their Instagram page (check them out) and immediately knew I had to have them, amongst other things I want that they sell (like their helmet hanger... I encourage to check that out as well... I really want it, that'll be my next purchase from them). The price of only 25 dollars is amazing as well so its a win win. The installation is very simple, just peal the adhesive tape and wrap. I've only had it for a 2 days and already it has a very nice subtle patina to it. I did have the smallest trouble with the finishing end of the wrap becuase it didn't want to stick properly, and wanted to peal back off, so I ended up putting a zip-tie to hold it down, just in case (not noticeable at all... and still looks great). They are a little slick with gloves on but I'm sure that once it's weathered-in that they'll have a little more friction to it for better grip. The logo branded on the leather adds a very nice rustic look to it as well. It's perfect for my style. They even come in a pretty cool little box, I'll end up using for small things like change, I like it.

Do practice wraps before installing; I did several, even on the second one. I also tapered the ends. Looks and feels great. And - feel like they are going to be very durable.

They installed easily and look good. With any luck they won’t unravel. They increased the thickness of the grip so hopefully they’ll deaden the vibration a little too and be a little easier on my hands. They feel nice.
