Much better than anticipated. One minute and perfect Al Dente pasta! One pack is a solid meal or split for 2 for a perfect side dish. Highly recommend!

Just know it is Al dente. Which I happen to prefer.

I leave the professionals to offer a picture of this product. I do want to say however this pasta is easy and quick and very versatile. I like to heat it up in the microwave, add a can of Wild Planet's Tuna with Red Beans and Corn Salad, fold in 2 tbsps of pesto (I use Rao's) and sprinkle some Wonderful's chili pistachios and some shaved Parmesan Reggiano on top and you have a delicious and nutritious meal which took all of 1 minute and has only one bowl and fork for cleanup. Yep, that's a win win. A win for your mouth and belly and a win when it comes to no dishes. But you could easily add sun dried tomato pesto sauce or regular marina...I use Penne...it holds sauce well. And you can use it to make a mean fettuccine pasta as well, maybe toss in some cut up chicken...why not have a good and decent meal. Why settle? with Barilla you don't have to. The only down side is it is a bit pricey. You can probably find pre-made pasta in any grocery store at a cheaper price. But I like Barilla...they are a fav of mine and I appreciate their steady consistency and delivery of products. I like their quality. And I love pasta.

SO FIRST --- Hard to find sometimes at a decent price.... so when i saw the deal on it --- I jumpedsecond -- it has come in handy -- youngest is SCARED to use the gas stove -- so this way they can still make their favorite dish ---also when i travel with a hotlogic - because its technically pre made --- you can use this in their machines (best to not use dry pasta in them) So i can make spaghetti/alfredo/mac n cheese on the roadWe also sometimes will pack it along on a tripThe texture can be --- different --- though when i heat it with sauce i do not see much difference- Pasta enthusiasts might disagree -- but this isn't NONNA's pastaThe taste is similar to reheated pasta -- bc its pretty much what it is

Convenient. Cooking according to package directions leaves the pasta al dente, but an extra 10-15 seconds should help if you prefer it softer. Bot for elderly mother who is in assisted living because she occasionally prefers not to go to dining hall. Because of that, I wish it was fewer than 7 packages. It will probably not all get eaten before expiration.

LOVE - Fix with SPEGETTI sauce & pre cooked meatballs or make as Macaroni salad. Easy fix for Old non-cookers.
