Great IPS display at a budget-friendly cost
For starters, the Acer brand has never let me down as far as quality and performance goes. I have a Acer CB242Y as my secondary monitor that has lasted for YEARS and still performs like new. I also tried their XFA 23.8” model that was great as well but I recently upgraded GPUs so I have 2K gaming capability now and decided to stay within the brand family and give this model a shot. Monitor shopping definitely seems to be a gamble, this model I received is excellent. Great color/ picture quality. Frames are fast and smooth. IPS light bleed at the edges exists (you’ll never get an IPS display that doesn’t have it) albeit, very minimally which is nice to see. The size is great for most gaming, like single player immersive story AND competitive PVPs like first / third person shooters. I have not experienced any visual anomalies like dead pixels or flickering. Though I will update my review should anything happen. I also like that this monitor has DP 1.4 connection, idk why it seems like all these gaming monitors are running 1.2. Console players beware, this is a HDMI 2.0 monitor so it may not provide you the latest and greatest performance for gaming through that port.

Great quality, easy to set up, easy to move to and from places.

Solid for the price, very good stand included
Beautiful picture, great stand, comes with both display port and HDMI cables and a proper plug with ground connection. The blacks are deep and the colors are vivid. A little bright out of the box, but easily configured. There's a tiny amount of backlight bleed in one corner, but it's barely noticable and doesn't impact my usage. I'm loving the fact that the stand is adjustable in height, tilts, and rotates. Just got it today, but I'm very happy with the product.

Great monitor for the price
I switched from the ASUS VG248QG, 165hz 1080p to this. I bought it for $300, looking at it right now, and it seems the price has increased to $400. Pros: 240hz (I play a lot of Valorant, it is definitely easier to hit shots with this monitor) 1440p (Looks a lot sharper and cleaner than 1080p, tested it in Cyberpunk 2077 and the difference is extremely noticeable) Response time (While I don't have the equipment to measure its response time, the manufacturer listed the monitor to have a 1ms GTG response time. I haven't noticed any ghosting or smearing while gaming/UFO test. I've seen a lot of videos online expressing how important GTG is over MPRT, so I'm just going to believe the manufacturer on this.) IPS Panel (You’re able to look at the monitor from any viewing angle and the colors will look uniform. Definitely feels nicer than the VA panel I have) Cons: Build Quality (The monitor definitely feels cheap, but it makes sense since the monitor was only $300) Color Accuracy (It's listed as HDR, but the colors aren't accurate/vibrant with and without the setting on. If the monitor is used just for gaming, this is definitely a solid pick. You'll get used to the colors eventually.) Overall: For the price of $300, I'd recommend this monitor to any competitive gamers. Note: This monitor was also just "released" on Amazon on May 14, 2023, so it makes sense why you can't find any information on this monitor at all.

Terrible backlight bleed in both original monitor and replacement
I purchased the 240hz version of this monitor for $230 during a Black Friday sale. Upon setting up the monitor, I immediately noticed a large amount of backlight bleed in the bottom-left and bottom-right corner of the display. Upon comparing this IPS display to 3 VA displays in my possession (2 Dells, 1 HP), I can safely say that none of the VA displays have this issue (at least no where close to this extent). I contacted an Amazon customer support agent who told me that a UPS delivery driver would be by to replace the defective monitor, and that I would receive a confirmation email containing further details. This confirmation email never came, so I decided to reach back out to Amazon who told me that previously mentioned exchange would not be possible and that I would have to ship the monitor back off myself in order to receive a refund. Before returning the monitor and potentially losing the Black Friday discount that I'd purchased it with, I decided to contact Acer directly to see if I could get the display replaced through them. After filling out and submitting a long form needed for the repair of the monitor, I received a confirmation email that included shipping instructions. During my review of the instructions, I determined that not only was Acer was instructing me to pay for shipping, but they also recommended that I purchase *postal insurance* for the defective monitor that I had just purchased a week prior. Upon reviewing my options, I determined that since getting it replaced through Amazon would not be an option, and that getting it replaced through Acer would not be financially viable, I would have to reorder another of the same monitor, and return the defective one for a refund (since at this point it was still the same price). Finally, after going questing to get the defective monitor returned to UPS and get the replacement in my possession, I unboxed and plugged the replacement monitor in. Unfortunately, the replacement monitor had the **exact** same problem as the previous one, and it was immediately noticeable upon powering on the display. I now have the replacement monitor set to be picked up for return tomorrow. I have since looked at the reviews (as well as their pictures) more carefully than I had initially, and I can confidently say that many other reviewers have been experiencing the exact same issue to varying degrees, as well as few other consistent issues. There were even some who posted pictures of defective backlight-bleeding displays who were not even aware of or had not yet identified the issue. The main selling point of an IPS display is that is has a ~180 degree viewing angle, while a VA display doesn't. Yet somehow due to backlight bleed, both of my displays that I've received do not even possess a viewing angle equivalent to a VA display, let alone the 180 degree viewing angle that is listed for the product. Even if I somehow manage to get my hands on a version of this display that actually functions as advertised (as some lucky souls have), there is no way to guarantee that said replacement wouldn't start encountering many of the screen-burn-in or dead-pixel issues that many of the reviewers have encountered a few months after purchase. I can safely say that this experience highlights just how terrible Acer's quality control really is. As a result, I will never be purchasing another Acer monitor ever again. This entire experience has been a huge waste of time and I hope others don't make the same mistake I did.

Insane PC monitor for value
Honestly probably one of the best mid range/starting monitors you should use for any decent rig PC. This is always my recommendation to people I know getting their PC for the first time. The response time is immaculate compared to my previous monitor. I've had this thing for years now and I've had 0 issues. The setup is easy, just plug in and use but you can change so many settings. The color is spot on - no issues with that, the brightness is adjustable so it can suite anyone's preference. It's such a great gaming monitor I'm hoping it lasts me until I finally need a 4k monitor.

Exceptional SDR, mediocre HDR
I put this thing to work as soon as I got it in; VESA mounted it to my wall and made it sweat. I went from a 32" 165hz 1440p panel, and the 27" is much better for pixel density IMO. The 240hz compared to 165hz isn't a game changer, but makes a noticable difference to the smoothness and responsiveness of gameplay. The SDR on this is really good. Like, surprisingly good for the price. I'm knocking off a star because the HDR is really dim and (as the title says) mediocre; it's not worth turning on, especially when compared to the way it looks with SDR. Can't have it all though, right? I'll update this as needed, but I feel really confident with my purchase.

Incredible Monitor for Gaming and Everyday Use!
This Acer 27" WQHD monitor has completely blown me away. The colors are vibrant, the IPS panel looks amazing from every angle, and the 240Hz refresh rate with 0.5ms response time makes gaming buttery smooth. AMD FreeSync Premium works flawlessly no screen tearing at all. Setup was quick, and the build quality feels solid. For the price, this monitor delivers outstanding performance and is perfect for both gaming and general use. The screen is a great size but the brightness is mindblowing. Easily a 5-star purchase!

Calidad precio
