We started with the normal classic style bed tent and my kids really liked it. Got this tent because the style works better for a top bunk bed because it leaves room for the ladder, the door was in the middle on her old tent, so she couldn't get to the ladded. It doesn't cover the whole mattress but it still seems bigger then the other style tent we had, probably because it's higher. Took me a bit of hit and miss as far as putting it together but the end result is worth it! The second white rod would not go in far enough and I got frustrated for a few minutes trying to get it in but it eventually freed itself, it was just caught inside near the end. So any reviews saying the rods were too long..they probably just gave up to soon and didn't work the rod through. We still need to put the mattress inside the tent, a twin mattress will fit perfectly, but I'll get help with that later. We have low bunk beds and this tent fits great on the top but looks like it's a couple inches too high for the bottom bunk so we'll be looking into other options for that. My 4 year old daughter loves this, we really like that it has soft curtains on both ends. Highly recommend!!

I bought this for my 2 year old, but I didn’t thoroughly read the size. He’s still in a toddler bed and it was too big. So, I moved it to the top bunk for my 11 year old. He LOVES it and the privacy he now gets from his 8 year old brother.

Gave it one star only because I had to. No stars given. I had easier time putting an adult tent together than this. The tent ended up ripping and had to use other methods to semi get it together. Couldn’t turn it inside out like directed. Horrible.

My son has had this for a few months now, he loves it. It is thin enough to let some light through from his nightlight which he prefers. We chose this for the height as it is on a top bunk, fit perfectly where most others would not have. It is not long enough to cover an entire twin mattress, but we actually like how it has worked out to have extra space at the end.

**Updated Looks cute but the webbing that makes up the channels for the tent poles is so extremely flimsy. As I was setting it up the slightest pressure from the pole would puncture it. I would have ignored it if it was once but after the fourth hole I was done and am returning it. There was no saving it, fabric that fragile can’t hold the stress of those poles. Update: my son wanted this one so bad we decided to give it another try. I was very slow and very methodical in putting it together and was able to avoid any holes. It has been up for a few months now and my son loves it. So just be very careful!!!

A little confusing to assembly and doesn’t hold up well to kids playing in side. Just depends on intended us may be good like reading tent

Really cute for pretty good on the top bunk. If you climb up the ladder from the end of the bed then this will work for you. Got for my 6 yr old niece and she loves it. The only downside is there's big pockets on the inside that my niece thinks your chewed up bubble gum goes. Lol so hopefully we can put it back up soon if she decides to stop sneaking gum into bed lol
