Vandorla 3D Eye Patch for Left Eye, Black

I cannot speak for myself, because I bought these for my husband (both left and right side) who was suffering temporary double vision. I received nothing but praise from my husband. He was happy that the patch did not press on his eye, and that it did not let in any light. He was especially happy that he was no longer wearing the patch I made for him, which was originally a black Covid mask folded up and stapled. If the staples weren’t scratching his face, they were popping out and the mask covered both eyes. This isn’t safe on the staircase. I told him the only other possible homemade replacementHe was repurposing a new pantyliner. He insisted that I buy a patch from Amazon, instead. Not only has husband been very satisfied with the eyepatch, but when he went to the doctor for cataract surgery, the doctor said it was a great choice for an eye patch, since it doesn’t push on the eyeball, and there is a small piece that covers the bridge of the nose to prevent sidelight from peeking in. I do recommend getting both left and right (and possibly a few of each to have on hand), since they can be handwashed and reused by the same person. I would not recommend washing in the machine. Also, even though it can be washed and reused, I would recommend against sharing an eyepatch that has been used by someone else. But I do recommend buying extra patches, to have on hand in case you need them. I will be buying a few more. They are stitched well, and fit nicely, even on his large head. I have not heard any complaints about slippage. I do recommend these patches.

This is not an attractive eye patch, but it is effective in protecting my eye that took an accidental punch from my grandson! It is comfortable because the eye patch is 3D molded: It doesn't touch the eye, has a bit of an air pocket so it's more breathable, it doesn't damage my eyelash extensions (!), and I could even open my eye and there patch keeps bright light off my hurting and sensitive eye!

Perfect for the Mohs surgery/skin grafting I had next to my tear duct! The doctor left a pressure pad on the incision so normal "flat" adhesive or cloth patches wouldn't fit. These are snug against the eye bones and bridge of nose but extend outward over the eye to accommodate gauze or other coverings that may be necessary to use under it. Plus its soft so doesnt hurt tender areas. Band is good and snug as well. I only have to wear it in public and to sleep. Great price and perfect for my needs!

I purchased these because I've been having migraines that seriously affect one eye. While the patch does the job, having the band around my head just about defeats the eye relief because the headache part is worse! I'll continue to use it, but I'm liking the stick-on patches better.

Perfect for post-eye surgery recovery - fits just right & doesn't touch the eye. Bright light was an issue after 1st cataract surgery, so I am armed with just what I need for after surgery for at least a couple weeks. I bought right & left so I can also use both for eye strengthening exercises to help correct my vision since I didn't qualify for fancy lenses due to an underlying eye issue. There are books on Amazon like Relearning to See, A New World of Seeing, and Bates method books to help your eyes self-correct like mine are doing. Also, buy a couple eye charts (6' & near reading) & follow exercises & dietary help (research says coconut oil, but I prefer coconut water) - improve overall health at the same time. Don't stare, don't squint & trying walking at least part of the time wearing polarized sunglasses with side shades, and follow guidance on sweeping eith your eyes, near & far sight changes & whatever works for you - it is a good way to keep your vision (& good eye vitamins). I'm in my mid-60s so you can make a difference & I am pleased eith the fit on these molded patches. I have a small head & they fit perfectly.

This "new" product came used. One of the eye patches (i) had white dandruff all over it, (i) the strap that holds it on was was shreddded (iii) it wasn't in a "pouch" like the second patch. Disgusting. It's also uncomfortable. The angle of the straps is poor. It either kills your ear, or puts pressure on your non-covered eyelid. You can eventually sort of "make it work" but it's lame design. So, functional? Yeah, on some level. Comfortable? No. Bearable, but lame. Blocks light fully? No, it still gets in there, no matter how many times you adjust it.

I used this twice so far it is great when looking through my Telescope

This eyepatch is ideal for my requirements, as it provides adequate coverage over the hard eyepatch applied after eye surgery. It will effectively protect my eye from dust, but a firm eyepatch is required immediately after surgery. The quality of the product is excellent.
