Built a bookshelf “Murphy” door using this hinge. (Hidden door) Very good quality hinge and hardware. Do your research before hand because directions leave a lot to be desired as this is a tricky application. I was skeptical as this was much less expensive than the big name items on the internet. Exceeded my expectations.

My initial order was defective, but they quickly replaced it. Works as expected for my bookcase/ linen closet.

I was replacing and ugly coat closet in my dining room and decided to build a liquor cabinet into a hidden door. This hinge was what I needed without spending $200 like some other hinges with an identical concept. I'm a female DIYer with self taught woodworking skills, so detailed instructions would have been helpful but they didn't exist. I used YouTube to figure out placement tips on installation and then the actual installation was fairly simple. The right tools for recessing the hinge are definitely necessary.

Product worked ok. I would not recommend for a heavier door or bookshelf.

Exactly what was required to build a hiddel bookcase. Excellent quality but no instructions or layout guides.

This is a great idea for hidden bookcase doors, the only issue I had was there is just enough slop in the top hinge that the opposite side was dragging, corrected that with a side mount caster. Otherwise very sturdy and after making my own templates they lined right up when I installed them.
