Purchased these recently and am blown away with how bright they are. They literally hurt your eyes to look at. The casing is more robust/thicker than I realized, so its a bit tricky to tuck behind a bumper if your bumpers spacing isnt large enough. I have it smashed up against the bumper and its basically sandwiched between the body. They seem very well made, and have more metal parts than realized. The brackets are a nice thick metal (I thought they were plastic and at first). The usual various jst plugs, along with the 3 settings (slow pulse, On, Flash) are as standard as expected. I'm definitely buying more like this. Its too soon to be sure of longevity, and I'm curious to see if it'll burn itself out or melt my lexan body with how bright it is. Installed on a FMS FCX10 K5 with the "Rhino" bumper upgrade. Might add/edit with brightness pictures later, but the other reviews are accurate.

Update 2: 6v is perfect and does not heat up nearly as much. Update: Be very careful where you mount these. They got very hot even to the touch over time. It takes a minimum of 10 minutes but does continue to get hotter. Its to be expected with the output but it will soften PLA 3D printed parts at 7.4V. Its rated for that and higher but the manual does says optimal is 6.0V. I was worried about the wires getting warm but after 20 minutes, it was only the metal on the lightbar itself. Put two of the smaller light bars on top of my Cross NT6 and it's incredible. Extremely Bright. Even with the vertical mounts in the roof rack, it still lights up everything in front of it. I did not use the included controller, it was fine but preferred a simple on and off. The included controller does on, breathing and strobe. Mounts are metal, rear fins are metal and it even has a see thru piece in front of the LEDs. I assume they will draw some voltage but being on a crawler and LED I am not too worried. Hopefully I can update after a few runs. Very happy with these. Looking forward to adding more to my other rigs.

Will be buying another, extremely durable easy to install and bright as all get out. I did a dumb and didn’t realize the wire got wrapped around my driveshaft, it obliterated the connector and my driveshaft. User error product works as intended. Pretty cheap for what you get too

Honestly, pretty good light for the price, quality and bright as well. The only thing I encountered is when I first plugged it in with the switch, it wasn’t bright at all, but when plugged straight into the receiver box, it was more than bright enough, obviously by doing that every time you turn on the car, the light will always be on, but I don’t mind that at all. Besides that it was pretty easy to install you just have to be comfortable with probably making some holes in your cars body

According to my wife it is blinding. I love that it's metal with metal mounts, last 1 I bought the mounts were plastic. No issues yet.

Don't know how long they will last. They are very Brite. Great light for rc cars.
