Rust Free
Installed almost a year ago and works fine. I used it t o replace another grate that was rusting after two years use. This grate does not show any signs of deterioration after almost a year of use.

Didn't work for me
Although the exterior size was correct, where the screw holes were placed didn't align with the existing shower drain. Thus this product sadly ended up in our recycling bin...

Replaced our entire shower unit. Wife disappointed that the drain was chrome on Maax shower basin. Local stores did not have black to match remaining hardware. This fit perfectly. Happy wife now.
