Purchased this in confidence due to other reviews and advertisement, I had a plated white gold band was originally yellow gold, I have had the ring a month I take it off to cook, clean, shower, wash my hands, I take very good care of it, I bought this so I could still wear it to the gym however.It has taken the platting off my ring and the yellow gold is now coming through, not only have I wasted £35 on this “protector” but I am now another £65 out of pocket to get it replated. I contacted Buffr via Instagram to question if they’ve had this happen before. They get very defensive and argumentative saying it’s not their product that caused it. The jewellers replating my ring have confirmed it is due to their product. Meant to be a soft silicon it’s more like a hard rubber that doesn’t bend

It doesn’t stay in place, constantly shifts around, and becomes even worse once you start sweating. Instead of protecting your ring, you’re distracted the whole time trying to fix it or worrying it’s about to slip off.For something priced at nearly $25, you’d expect at least a secure fit or decent quality. You get neither. I purchased this for my husband so that he can wear his wedding band at the gym rather than a silicone ring and he loves it! He says it’s so comfy and he often forgets it’s even there. He’s not a big jewellery wear-er and doesn’t like feeling constricted so if he says it’s comfy you know it’s true lol… I have one for myself as well and with my engagement ring and band stack, it’s still super comfortable and durable. 5 stars for sure.
