I bought this for my wife's older Toyota Avalon which doesn't have Bluetooth or Aux connection. We were going on a 2,000-mile road trip and needed Apple Carplay to make navigation and listening to podcasts and music easier. I was about to buy Car and Driver's Intellidash system, retailing for around $179-$199, but I read a review on Walmart saying that you can purchase the same unbranded model for around $70. I hit the place order button and gave it a try. I am so glad I didn't overpay for the other model.Right out of the box this display seems well made with a good mount but we soon realized we would need a suction mount since the dashboard on the Avalon is very high. Hikity customer service were amazing and helped us locate one to fit our vehicle. The FM transmitter isn't the best quality sound wise but we already had a really good one in our car. This hikity wireless carplay allows me to connect via Bluetooth to my own FM transmitter and have all Apple Carplay functionality on the screen which is very convenient!I also didn't want this using up 1 of 2 of my lighter outlets in the car so I was able to use a regular USB to USB C cable and it powered the device with no issues. My car power USB adapter has two USBs and one USB C, so I can charge my phone/laptop while still powering the display. Overall for the price, you are getting a solid device, would recommend it to other friends if you don't wanna spend $300-500 getting a built-in system in your car.

I originally had the Carpuride 10" pro screen. I couldn't get the dual Bluetooth to work properly with Carplay/Android. So I sold my Carpuride to a friend.I saw this deck on Amazon it had good reviews plus the price was relatively cheap so I decided to give it a shot.Very surprised on the quality and the easy set up. Dual Bluetooth worked as advertised. Just follow the directions. Fast start up and better screen quality than the Carpuride.Only Con:The screen has virtual buttons on the display that take up some screen real estate. You can't remove them they are constantly on screen. They are useful but there should be some way to hide them and have them pop up when needed.

I try few others mobile media players but this one I like it because of the great functionality of their dual Bluetooth. The connection is wireless and automatic after an easy installation, with the dual Bluetooth I am able to receive phone calls via my car speakers via Bluetooth without interrupting the Android Auto, same as Carplay. I use my car speakers on every application, i.e. Spotify, phone music, etc., etc.One of the cons I personally I don't like is the Power plug can't be replaced with USB cord because it will not transmit radio, since the antenna is in the cable of the power cord. That's ok because I use my car radio.The camera image video is very good, good resolution. Overall, I like it.

Updated for customer serviceCustomer service reached out to me and did everything they could to resolve my issue. While the issue could not be resolved they did go above and beyond to try to help which goes a long way in my book.I was looking forward to getting this. The screen looks good and setup and pairing was easy. I did not set up the backup camera yet. For the first day it was awesome. Then the second day it started to randomly disconnect from CarPlay. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max on the latest iOS. I tried to troubleshoot with Amazon but it didn’t work. I ordered a replacement and will update my review after I have time with the replacement when I get it next week, but so far I’m disappointed

I definitely do not recommend this product. I've had it for 13 months so i've definitely have had it long enough go give a fair review. The issues are many. Lets start out1. They sticky thing (double sided tape) they have to attach to the base so you can stick it on your dash is horrible. I stuck it to my dash (temps were in the 70s) in my garage and by the morning it has slowly fallen. Tried to fix it multiple times & cleaned my dash thoroughly but same thing happened over and over. There is no way this thing is going to work in hot weather. I ended trying partial solutions that i've been dealing with for a year like double sided velcro. Not great but i dealt with it.2. *BIGGEST ISSUE*. This thing randomly will not connect to my phone. So you end up either pulling over on the road or being late because you can't get it to work. In the end what i usually had to do was disconnect it from bluetooth & reconnecting it back which generally fixed the issue but i had to do this quite a bit. I have an iphone 14 pro max and i don't have any issues with the married of bluetooth devices i have except for this thing.3. I had messaged the seller on where i could download firmware update *that would hopefully fix some of these issues* & then responded back that it can't be updated. I know this is a lie. If you go in the settings it tells you the firmware version & it has update functionality. All i wanted is a place where i could download it so i could update it but they would not provide it.4. Even when #2 is not an issue it boots up so slowly & takes sometimes minutes to connect. If you want to use the reverse camera on this thing forget it. You will just end up being frustrated (my car already has a reverse camera).5) The last straw was the base. Not only is the double sided tape horrible so is the base. It was on my car & I came out to see it kind of drooping down instead of up like it usually is. I thought it was what i used to attach it to the dash but it was not. The base was cracked/broken it was just drooping down on the dash. This was a few days after the warranty ended. It was a hot day (probably mid 90s) but this thing is designed to sit on a car dash right?That being said the screen is great & when it worked using it for navigation was great. Though do realize this you can't watch video on it (without doing some hacking). Its not a fault of the device as much carplay (they probably don't want to enable it so you get in wreck watching video when your suppose to be driving) so mostly the nice screen is a waist? The sound was also good but realize my car already had bluetooth so YMMV.All my testing was just with carplay not with android auto.

Disclaimer: if you buy any CarPlay or android auto for my line, be thoughtful and also expect it to be malfunction or defective despite that being said, it is always better to get your car installed with one by a professional audio store. The front camera was working when I got it installed however the rear camera doesn’t even work. I disputed a replacement and never got a response back. The camera quality has low frames where you cannot read plates without turning on high or low beams. However the features and mechanics is good and the storage capacity can make the recording clips last long enough to keep on for days , especially when your not in your car it can at least catch accidents or an idiot sideswiping or hitting your car.

This has been a game-changer for my Ram Promaster! It’s super convenient (and much safer) to be able to see Google/Apple Maps on a bigger screen. Dual bluetooth is a MUST, as it allows you to connect to your car stereo and to this unit at the same time.I ended up building a stand with two l-brackets and some double sided tape, as the original mount made the screen sit a bit too high and blocked too much of the view forward.Another nitpick is that it sometimes takes a few seconds to connect to your phone when you start up the car, but it ends up connecting automatically within ~5 seconds without you having to do anything.Great product overall, definitely worth it!

I chose this mainly because it had dual Bluetooth support, and I wanted to retain my steering wheel controls and the audio quality because my car has Harmon Kardon. I have a 2015 Cooper S 4-door with the largest screen, and this screen is a great fit/match since it’s so wide! Dual Bluetooth works wonderfully, the dashcam is very clear, and at night with my LED headlights the cam shows more than I can see in person. Build quality seems great, I cannot see any pixels on the display it’s clear, and I got it up and running in just a couple of minutes. I highly recommend this!
