Brilliant for the restoration of headlamps - sand down 800
Brilliant for the restoration of headlamps - sand down 800, 1200, 2000 grit until even (better to leave a 2000 grit surface for improved adhesion - end result is perfect), wash with water, wipe dry and apply helmsman spar urethane/white spirit mix @ 1:1 with a cheap blue cleaning cloth - One tbsp of each will suffice. Loads of research will basically lead you to that method. Chose a sunny day, low wind and remove headlamps from car for best result.

That it can change a colour
When I applied this onto an Epoxy white worktop it turned the colour to a cream and I had to do the worktop again. So be careful what you put this varnish onto.

The best clear coat for outdoor wooden furniture.
Spar Urethane is the best for refinishing outdoor furniture. It lasts for years in the weather. Just clean the wood, sand it (no finer than 120 grit), clean and dry again, then paint on the first coat. It will be a bit rough. Then use fine sandpaper (~220 grit) to smooth it, then paint another coat. Three coats for outdoor wooden furniture. It will look better than new.Made my cheap beer garden table look amazing after it got shabby from weather. This pint size is pretty small though, I needed two cans for three coats.

Brings out the natural beauty in wood.
I'm using this on some of the earrings I'm making. This really brings out the natural beauty of wood. It's pretty easy to put this on, and it goes on fairly smooth with the tiny artist brushes I'm using. This dries decently quickly, and I've been able to lightly sand it in about 4 hours. I normally give it at least 12 before I assemble the earring. Conclusion: For tiny pieces of wood, I find absolutely no fault with this product. It brings out the colors in wood, and really richens them up. It provides a hard surface that is not easily scratched. I prefer this to the polyurethane I was using prior. The photo is a piece of figured redwood that I coated with this urethane.

Smell that won't go away.
I bought this a year ago to reseal my kitchen countertops as is listed for one of its uses....Finally 3 months ago i applied it..... it looks great but anywhere it touched anything white now has a yellow discoloration that will need to use steel wool to remove.... BUT, the thing that is very disappointing is the smell that still lingers even mow after 3 months.... the reviews mention the odor and state it is temporary.... this isnt temporary and my son who has an infant and my pregnant daughter are avoiding visiting because of it...... I honestly am very discouraged and don't know how to fix this.... the holidays are coming

read description carefully
I purchased this product based on it's price & the advertisement photo. I assumed that based on the price that it was quart size. The photo displayed has removed the lower right description of the container size. It does not reflect the actual product photo that clearly indicates it's size. While it is stated in the narrative above the photo, the marketer has clearly attempted to rely on our tendency as consumers to simply rely on the photo label. Deceptive advertising!!! When I attempted to return the very overpriced items, I was informed that due to the fact that it was a flammable liquid, that this item could not be returned. I am now becoming a sceptical Amazon shopper.

1 week outside and my tables were ruined!!!
I painted this table for my patio, and on the first week, it was out, ruined. They were. ruined. It is supposed to protect your paint from the sun's harmful sun exposure. This is what happened during the first week out on the patio. Brown brush stroke marks. The table is basic ruined now. I followed instructions and put on 3 very thin coats and let them each dry at least 2 days apart. Never again.
