works great and the gates are easy to slide open and close
The blast gates and rubber connector are perfect, the easily attached to my 4 inch connections. I only have them for a few weeks but they feel very sold, the plastic housing feels substantial, not flimsy like others.I would definitely buy these again

Good quality.
Nice and thick. I drilled 4 holes for mounting and it didn’t crack. I do wish it was tapered at the connection point because had a heck of a time getting my 4” hose on it.

It works
These blast gates do work, and work well, however for the quality you get the price seems a little high, I have not broken one yet but I am careful when I open and close them because they seem like they could easily break if you try to open or close them with too much force.

Nice 'valve' for 4" vacuum hose
I bought this to use in a 4" ventilation line that moves air from inside my shop to where it is expunged through the wall. When the ventilation is not running in colder weather it provides an easy way to seal the cold air out and prevent it 'back-feeding' into my work area.
