Guys/Girls if your waist is between 30-34" you definitely want "small" not "medium" for a snug secure fit! I had to send a medium back(I feel it could have easily fit someone with a 36-38" waist!) I worked out with this on, doing squats and lunges was no problem and the support felt good(*very inconspicuous and tight to the body,fits well under sweats and jeans!*). I definitely went lighter and higher reps until after my surgery. My hernia is currently small and not symptomatic for the most part and I purchased this to get me through the summer and planning on having surgery in September, I didn't want to ruin my summer so I'm just using the support harness to skate me through for a couple of months. It works well and is "comfy snug" which is what I wanted for exercising. I am satisfied with this purchase and the product is currently meeting my needs!(PULL ALL STRAPS QUITE TIGHT WHILE PUTTING IT ON, ESPECIALLY FOR EXERCISING(the crotch strap will seem bothersome at first but it's necessary, try and get both attachment points right next to each other under the small yellow label above the hernia "pad", this will keep it against your inner thigh and away from your privates and butt crack!😂).AFTER ABOUT 5-10MIN OF WEARING IT YOU WILL BE WAY LESS CONSCIOUS OF HOW SNUG IT IS AND THE SUPPORT WILL FEEL GOOD AND GIVE YOU PEACE OF MIND! IF THE VELCRO WEARS OUT AFTER A MONTH OR TWO I WILL JUST BUY ANOTHER ONE(getting corrective surgery soon anyway!), I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS THING TO LAST 5 YEARS! 😂)

I have worn this for a year and a half and it has worked great! Just ordered another one because the velcro was starting to get weak. My doctor told me that surgery would last about three years then i would probably have to have it done again so I'm just wearing the belt. No problems and no discomfort.

Very supportive the material is soft it does not irritate, I have sensitive skin and it doesn't seem to be hurting or bothering me which is great for me, it has enough stretch in the band so I'm a 32 to 34 waist I ordered medium and is perfect. The only thing is the material wears out after a few washes so be gentle when you wash and let it dry, they are cheap enough to wear I'll just purchase a new one when it wears out the velcro or it can be modified as I've seen others do with new Velcro which I did sew on to the fabric and it worked just fine temporarily. I've gotten about six good months of use before needing replacement and I work everyday using it. Important thing to note if you're not used to it take some adjusting because everybody's different but I was wearing it too low under my hips thinking it had to be there if you just set the straps where they need to be one going under the groin up around the butt cheek see the other side opposite from the left hernia side or opposite of the right side then pull up on the Belt so that it positions the hernia inward and the belt pulls up onto it where the Bulge is, tuck it in with your hand or lay on your back on the bed to apply this then stand up. Don't make it too tight start loose at first and slowly make it tighter each day don't try to make it very tight at first or it will hurt later

Does it work? It certainly does. How long? How long? Hopefully a month to my surgery (I'm 10 days in, a few days before many say the velcro stops working). I can get it tight around the waist, but the under belt lost its elastic fairly quickly. I have to wrap around the belt a couple of times to shorted it enough to get a light tension on it.

The belt works great. Have reduced pain and can comfortably increase activity while waiting for surgery.

I was in pain from my hernia, the surgeons in Dallas were backed up for two months, this little $25 support got me thru until I could get the mesh surgery. It works VERY well, is highly adjustable for all sizes and locations (low high, left right), the velcro sticks well too. Once I got it adjusted, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable (or not too uncomfortable) it was, you can put as much or as little pressure exactly where you need it, yet it still fit under my jeans. Skip the $100 ones, this worked great!

Works but not the easiest device to put on and can make urination a challenge. But all in all, did help reduce discomfort while awaiting surgery.
