My very expensive Stearns & Foster mattress was killing my sleep, but I don’t have the money to replace it. I had been sleeping on a loaner memory foam mattress, but it was so firm that my shoulders and hips were very painful. I read up latex vs. memory foam, and since I don’t have an allergy to latex, I decided on an extra firm 3” latex topper.I was a bit concerned that the extra firm would hurt my back, hips and shoulders, but it softened a lot after a few nights. Unfortunately, it has “sagged” into the trough in my mattress. At first and for a few weeks, the sagging wasn’t so severe that I was losing sleep or waking in more pain. Now it’s gotten so bad that I am having a very hard time sleeping on the same side of the bed every night, and am switching sides every couple of days. I wonder if I was sent a firm or medium topper instead of the extra firm I ordered, given how soft and saggy it’s become.I had planned to buy a Turmerry mattress, or buy three more toppers one at a time. Now I wonder if this one is faulty.On the plus side, there was zero odor, and it expanded immediately.
