Works great for small batch candles or wax melts! The pot is small but I knew that as I measured before ordering. It does smoke a bit the first time but again the instructions warned it would do that the first time as it primes itself. The thermometer works great as I tested it against another one I already have. I did not use the spoon as it is tiny and feels kinda cheap. I have nice bar spoons that I always use instead. Overall, this is a nice little set up and holds 32oz or 900ml of wax, making it great for doing wax melts or tarts. It warms up very fast so just watch your wax and pull off the burner when the correct temperature is reached.

Pro is that the pot is great, melts wax quickly and evenly. Holds a good amount. Con is that the pour spout doesn’t work at all and dumps wax all over everything because it runs under the spout and out of the pot. Wish this had been designed better and it would’ve made candle making much simpler.

Bought this to start candle making! This is the perfect size to make a batch of smaller candles or 2 larger 9 0z. I add more soy wax once melts down to make a larger batch and works great! Easy cleanup. I wipe out with paper towel. Cleanup with soy candles is amazing!

Easy to use, no problems with it!

The hot plate works good, but the thermometer is horrible, had to buy another one due to this one just doesn't work. Keeps giving me some type of an error message no matter where in the pot I put it. Can't leave it hanging on the side of the pot, just threw it away. The scalding pad works great, I was worried because a lot of people on here said how it melts, its not meant to go under the hot plate! Its meant to go under the melting wax pot.
