Would these be suitable for a 60l backpack?

We used them in a suitcase, but also use them for tidy wardrobe storage. As there are various sizes in the pack, I would say yes you probably can. They are very lightweight . We were very pleased with them as they made packing and sorting so easy. No stress!! Hope this helps.

Hello ... i bought these and they are extremely light.... you get 6 cubes and a draw string bag ... if your looking at doing only 10kg baggage you'll only need 3 cubes at most ... if you going the full allowance then you might use them all .... an alternative for you is to use vac seal bags and buy a USB mini vac pump ... the bags weight next to nothing and once the air is removed they compress really well .... look for JML vac pump ...... as for the cubes ... ive used them 3 times and they work well ....
