I've now had my fan for a year and still love it. For me it was well worth the cost. I'm a really light sleeper, but can easily sleep with the fan on its lowest setting - it still wafts a lovely cooling breeze that helps me to sleep on warmer nights without disturbing me. I just wish they made a half sized equivalent that I could travel with!

This fan has been a lifesaver in the never ending heatwave in the UK, especially at night. It is so quiet it does not disturb my sleep while a gentle breeze keeps me and my room cool. It is reasonably light weight to move between rooms and definitely worth the investment.

TL:DR This actually cools warm air in your room, so it's the closest you'll get to Dyson without paying triple the price. I find it hard to trust so many positive reviews, so i'm posting with a picture in the hope this helps you. This fan pleasantly surprised me. It does seem to cool the air instead of just circulating warm air like my previous tower fan. On the highest setting, its less noisy than my tower fan. In fact, the noise is so low on the lower/middle settings that my cats will even sit in front of it. Also the remote control is particularly handy because in a heat wave I want to move as little as possible. All in all good product and worth the money in my opinion.

This fan is really good. It kept me lovely and cool during the hottest summer days, it’s really effective. It has several speed/power settings to choose from, as well as mode settings and timers. The night mode is quite good with the speed decreasing over time. I don’t find it too loud at night for sleeping, even on the fastest speed, but I do like white noise. The only downside for me is that the remote control, which is so handy to have, absolutely rinses batteries. I’ve had to change them 4 times in the 6 months I’ve had the fan, even though use is minimal this time of year. I get hot during the night so do still use it on low sometimes even during the winter. But we are talking one button press to turn it on and one to turn it off again and it’s not every night, so I’m puzzled as to why it uses so much battery power??! For me it loses a star on that basis.

I don’t normally write reviews but thought I should write a quick note for people like myself wondering if it’s worth the money to say that it absolutely is! Please don’t hesitate if you’re hovering over that buy button and just get it, you won’t regret it. I really struggle in the heat and my house really traps the heat. My work building is also like a furnace so I really need some relief from the heat when I get home. I have a portable air conditioner in my bedroom but was feeling confined to my bedroom with it. I wasn’t sure if it would be better to get another air conditioner unit for the living room or a decent tower fan but wanted to try a fan for better running costs, less noise and comparative environmental friendliness. I’ve really wanted a Dyson fan ever since I first saw them in a shopping centre when they came out but they’re just sooooo expensive and the summers are getting hotter and hotter here in Kent. I decided to give this one a go and I’m so glad I did. It’s perfect. Really effective, with the oscillation it feels like a cool sea breeze sweeping over you and cooling you down but without that horrible feeling of air blowing forcefully into your face! It’s just right. I’d been worried that a fan would just push hot air around when it’s into the thirtysomething degree temperatures indoors here (this has generally been my experience of fans before) but somehow it really works well and feels genuinely cooling. I’d actually say it’s as effective as my portable air conditioner at keeping me comfortable and it’s super quiet so brilliant for the living room as there is no problem hearing the TV over the noise of it etc. It also looks really sleek and designer, it actually looks aesthetically much nicer than I had thought on seeing it on here. I think it’s well worth the money and I’m so happy with it. Just get it!

Good piece of kit. Effective, modern looking, quiet & stable. Able to sleep whilst it purrs away. Certainly made sleep possible during this hot spell in the UK. Very happy.

Not had a good chance to use it yet as weather changed but have it now to be ready. On checking and testing it seems to be very good and quite easy to work and understand instructions. A big plus is it being quiet in the bedroom and no flashing light displays either like some other tower fans have. Also stands at a good height so air circulation is better and being blade less is safer. Choice if three colours too. Was recommended to me and have seen one in action so went for it. Came well packaged and in time.

Totally worth the price. The fan delivers on its promise - super quiet and powerful wind flow. Been a heaven sent to deal with the dubai summer when the a/c fails to go down below 22. The fan offers respite and much need air circulation. Will consider buying 1-2 more for the other rooms of the house.
