Orbit 67301 1/4-Inch by 100-Foot Black Vinyl Univeral Drip System Tubing

I should have paid attention to the other reviews for this product. I bought this Orbit brand drip irrigation line because of the brand name. I have purchased other unknown brands and not had any problems. This Orbit irrigation tubing was so brittle that it would break just trying to unwind it. I did install some in my garden and all the water would gush out of the first 18 inches and almost no water would flow through the rest of the 8 foot length. The no name brand I previously bought works beautifully. This is garbage!

I like this Orbit tubing for the delivery runs to individual plants after the pressure controlling emitters. I have had this tubing blow off the coupling that's attached to the main lines (1/2") at 26psi !! The commercial (RainBird) tubing is stiffer and much harder to press in your fittings, especially if your hands are getting tired, if you have any arthritic conditions, or if you're just becoming an older fart like me! Hint...Have your tubing sitting in the sunlight to make installation of hardware even easier.

Not soft hard to work with

Only dripped for the first 16 or so inches, even on short runs. Very poor performance. Could only use for short coils around plants and even then the loops put out way too much water. Unfortunately this is not a good product. Wound up getting the product below... which worked perfectly.
