Caraway Non-Stick Ceramic Frying Pan (2.7 qt, 10.5")

Love, love, love this pan. No more cleaning stuck on food and best of all, it simply wipes clean with a soft sponge or cloth. I am going to purchase another pan in a different size.

This started life as a 1-star review. I bought a 10-inch Caraway ceramic fry pan in April 2025 after doing a lot of research (and being influenced by many 4–5 star reviews). At first, it performed well, but over time I started struggling with it. Scrambled eggs were the breaking point. Instead of a clean cook, it felt like the eggs were bonding permanently with the pan. Meanwhile, my old cast iron pan—normally the difficult one—started to look almost forgiving in comparison. Cleaning it only added to the confusion. The pan looked fine afterward, which made the sticking feel even more frustrating. Eventually, I left a 1-star review in frustration. Update (April 2026): I’ve since revisited how I use it, and the outcome has changed significantly. The turning point was surprisingly simple: butter. With a proper amount (around a tablespoon) and better heat control, the performance improved a lot. No sticking, and a much more consistent cooking experience overall. It’s also worth saying that part of the reason I wanted this pan in the first place is that ceramic cookware like Caraway is generally considered a healthier option compared to traditional non-stick coatings. That trade-off is still a big part of why I’m sticking with it (no pun intended). So I’m updating this to 4 stars. It still doesn’t quite match the effortless glide of classic non-stick cookware, but once you understand how to use it properly, it performs reliably and has earned its place in my kitchen.

I have been doing some research on the impact forever chemicals has on our bodies and decided to try companies who do not use those chemicals in their cookware. I have gone from using Calphalon - for over a decade- to Caraway. I truly didn’t know what I was missing! While the price was a bit of a shock, the heat distribution as well as the nonstick quality is perfection. I don’t need to use oil or butter, and it cleans easily- leaving a nice glittery effect to the pan. Not having the forever chemicals that negatively impact our bodies as well as our environment, is a huge factor as well. I have cooked pancakes and crepes so far and have been 100% happy with the results. They are restaurant quality all due to the pan. My kids have even commented on how fluffy and perfect the food’s texture is compared to the Calphalon cookware. It’s worth every penny!

Love this!, I’ve been looking at this brand for a little while and I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the money…it’s easy to clean, cooks evenly, and I love the color. I haven’t put it in the oven yet but I like that I can. The best part is knowing it’s non-toxic! I bought the 12 inch frying pan and will buy 1 more because I need 2 but wanted to test it first before committing.

So far, so good. This seems like a heavy well-made pan, and my first week of cooking eggs demonstrated that the non-stick surface really works with minimal to no oil. The surface is very slippery and eggs did not stick at all. I am using it on an induction cook-top, and it is hard to find good ceramic pans for induction.
