I actually love this little coffee machine. At first when I saw how small it was I thought I wouldn't use it. Yes it does only make one mug of coffee, but it makes a very good one. I probably wouldnt buy if multiple people in your house need coffee at the same time, but for one at a time this machine is attractive and space saving, which is what I needed. Brews a coffee from cold water in a couple of minutes and keeps it warm if needed. I recommend the filters made for the machine. I was cutting larger ones down but the small Melitta ones are perfect.

This coffee machine is faultless. High quality, compact and smart. Easy to use and space-efficient. Easy to clean, and the coffee tastes fantastic. If a bigger model were available, I would definitely buy it. The coffee is ready rapidly and brings out all the flavors

Such a cute little coffee maker , doesn’t take up space on the counter . Very efficient . Lovely retro style . Can do up to two cups of coffee . So if you want to have more than two cups better to upgrade to a bigger one but for me it’s more than enough . No coffee can go waste .

This is a excellent little coffee maker for one and it makes lovely hot mug of coffee and nice and compact very simple to use no complicated LCDs

Was looking for a small product to use for side of bed. This had a small footprint - perfect one cup of coffee or tea.

Such a shame. I wanted one of these for YEARS but I didn't realise just how small it was. It barely fully 1 UK standard cup. It's tiny. I love the visual design but I just wish they made them bigger. Another thing is it's alot of hassle compared to standard drop coffee machines, where the plastic coffee basket has to be removed and put back on with the carafe making the whole process time consuming and messy. The carafe lid also doesn't seem to serve a purpose since it's very much 'pour once'. Also, due to how the water hits the basket/grounds it doesn't give an even brew, instead burrowing into the grounds leaving an uneven flavour. Well, my 10 year itch has now been scratched I guess. While I dont think Melitta should stop producing them - (still selling a product from 1979 is incredible and I'm sure others will love it) - I just wish they made a bigger version with some design tweaks like attached (but removable) grounds basket and more modern water 'shower' type. This shouldn't affect the longevity of the product.

Perfect for that one cup! It saves me half- filling a kettle for a cup of coffee. Its a wonderful little coffee maker. I had 2 reasons for buying it 1 economical and fast. 2 It uses filters, which i have reverted to, to fight the cholesterol battle. And the coffee still tastes good.

Love this little coffee machine I have limited kitchen worktop space.. it's so cute works well and just enough for one good size coffee, would definitely recommend..

Sie ist klein, sehr klein. Und genau deswegen habe ich mich für genau diese entschieden! Ich glaube es gibt keine ähnlich große Kaffeemaschine auf dem Markt. Der Preis ist natürlich vergleichsweise teuer, aber es ist, denke ich, ein Nischenprodukt, und das rechtfertigt dann wieder den etwas höheren Preis. Als Kaffeegenießer mit kleinen Kaffeetassen ist die Menge für eine Person gerade richtig. Genau 2 kleine Kaffeetassen füllt der Inhalt. Oder 1 größere Kaffeetasse (300 ml), oder eine sehr große Kaffeetasse mit Milchschaum. Mehr Kaffee als diese Menge soll man ja morgens sowieso nicht trinken. Sonst habe ich mich dazu verleiten lassen, den Rest auszutrinken und hatte dann riesige Kaffeemengen im Magen. So passiert das nicht, weil Schluss! Außer ich koche eine 2. Ladung (wie heute morgen). Um ehrlich zu sein, habe ich mir diese Puppenküchenkaffeemaschine für meinen Caddy Minicamper gekauft und bin so entzückt davon! Ich habe mir eine kleine Puppenküchenzeile in meinen Caddy gebaut, reise alleine und die Kaffeemenge reicht völlig für mich. Der Kaffee aus dieser Maschine schmeckt wunderbar, feiner Filterkaffee ohne Abstriche. Liegt wahrscheinlich auch an der Melitta-Qualität. Kein Plastikgeschmack, wie es oft der Fall bei billigen Maschinen ist. Ok, man könnte jetzt denken, eine 6 Tassen Maschine wäre auch gut, aber diese winzig kleine 2 Tassen-Maschine reicht völlig aus, wie schon erwähnt, zu viel Kaffee soll man ja auch nicht trinken. Ich habe sie jetzt erstmal zuhause ein paar Tage im Einsatz und bin verliebt. Sie erzeugt immer ein Lächeln in mein Gesicht, alleine wenn ich sie anschaue-ungelogen! Genug Filter habe ich jetzt auch bestellt in Größe 100. So niedlich, wenn man den kleinen Filter anschließend entsorgt.... Ich habe in meinem Minicamper eine Puppenküche und diese Puppen-Kaffeemaschine passt perfekt für meine Zwecke. Notwendig? Nein. Aber schööööööön!!!!!

No voy a explayarme mucho y voy al grano parece de juguete pero hace cafe como una el doble de grande y en la mitad de tiempo en concreto 3 minutos 30 segundos. La cantidad de cafe máxima viene por la jarra y da para un mug lleno prácticamente hasta los bordes. No es un cafe fuerte es como el de cualquier cafetera de su tipo un tanto diluido o sea a mas agua cafe mas blando no olvidemos la clase de cafetera que es. El agua sale bastante caliente como 70 grados y es muy fácil de limpiar son en esencia 3 piezas la cafetera, el cono donde esta el cafe y el filtro y la jarra (solo hay que lavar la jarra y el cono). El cañón del agua caliente también se puede desmontarse. Ya dije que era pequeña puede caber en cualquier mesita de noche y el cable de 70cm es suficiente para conectarla. Los filtros son baratos y si no se pueden encontrar con recortes de los típicos número 4 van igual (los originales no son caros como 5cts unidad). El cono del filtro no tiene válvula de seguridad pero si un sistema ingenioso para que no caiga agua a la lámina térmica, el agujero del cafe esta un par de cm sobre el fondo por lo que el agua que sobra se queda ahi tras dejar de salir. En peso es incluso mas pequeña 500 gm y olvidé el detalle de la tapa de la jarra pero yo la he guardado porque no la uso el cafe lo paso de inmediato al mug. Producto de calidad pero un tanto sobre preciado por las siguientes razones, diseño antiguo (es la versión actual de una de los 70), pocas complicaciones (hay cafeteras mas baratas hasta con temporizador válvulas, regulador de intensidad de cafe etcétera), en resumen una cafetera muy básica. La compraría de nuevo?. No solo eso la regalaría y hasta la coleccionaba si saliese en otros colores de los 70 como naranja etcétera. Pero claro 40 euros son 40 euros.
