I love this laptop. I use it for DJing, and for any other computer needs, including Internet access, and checking email. Wi-Fi connection works great and is very fast. I don’t know about battery life cause I use it plugged in most of the time.

So If You are anything like me, you are thinking, $384? How long will it last?? Will it show up and be a piece of crap? But....I was in serious need of a laptop for my job and I was not able to buy a really good one for a few months and that meant, being out of work for a few months so I took a chance in JANUARY 2024. And its been WONDERFUL. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL--It works like any other laptop, it arrived in excellent condition, all of the wires were in the box. The screen size is perfect. It updates when it needs to and I have had ZERO issues, in fact, a friend of mine just told me she needs a laptop and I thought, I wonder if they have any left? Here I am, seeing they have some left and knowing that I should buy one for her and maybe an extra one for me "Just in case" I am traveling this weekend for the first time with the laptop so....you never know what could happen. See, I am super paranoid about stuff and so knowing that about me and hearing how amazing this laptop has been should be a good reason for you to take a chance! _-------------------- This is March, 2026 and in January I had to buy another computer because I spilled water on the other one, it was working fine till that moment--so I bought another one of these and its been GREAT--No issues, 2 for 2. :) BUY it!

I love this large screen laptop. Had to update since my old 17" Lenovo was not Win 11 compatible and was slowly dying anyway. Great price, jumbo keys, setup with One Drive took minutes and my existing wireless mouse and HP printer connected immediately.

Works great but had to spend two days on the phone with HP tech support to enable the microphone...so that was not expected.

Arrived at the scheduled day and time. Package was perfect. It’s not the laptop’s fault, obviously, but when choosing to buy a nice case for it, to get the larger size, the prices were nearly twice as much as the smaller 15 size. And if that was not the issue, then either it’s not sold in large, or the case is back ordered and not available till sometime in January. In all fairness, if I knew the difference, I most likely would have bought a smaller 15 laptop. The laptop has a very large screen, of course. It looks massive next to a 15. I am still working on figuring out the laptop, co pilot was cool to use while writing a professional letter. The co-pilot voice is male, with a small accent, maybe Australian? I panicked when it demanded a name, and I blurted out Alex, for no other reason than it was similar to Alexa. The speed is fine for me. And if I need more storage, I see it on Amazon for under $100. It’s large. After playing with it for a couple of hours, I feel pretty connected with Alex, wink wink, and I will be keeping it and I look forward to having it for several years. I could have used a measuring tape and had a preview of what the screen size would look like, so that is on me. I am going to figure it out and see what it can do.

This is my 5th HP computer (the last one is 13 years old and the only reason I needed a new one is that it is not upgradable to Windows 11). I wanted a portable machine with a large screen and this 17.3 does not disappoint. You can expand the font for large print which is good for old eyes. Not too much bloatware and all the things I need for home use. The price was right and if you don't need too many bells and whistles, this is the machine for you.

This laptop was advertised as new and sold by M‑X‑C Tech, a distributor claiming to offer HP products. However, when I experienced hardware issues just a few months after purchase, HP informed me that they would not honor the warranty — because M‑X‑C Tech is not an authorized HP seller. Despite the product appearing legitimate, HP has confirmed that this distributor is not approved to sell or service their equipment. As a result, I was left with a malfunctioning laptop and no warranty coverage. Do not buy from M‑X‑C Tech. Their listings may look official, but they are not backed by HP, and you may be denied support when you need it most.
