SEAC Unisex Adult Clip Double Gancho Underwater Hook With Stainless Steel Carabineers - Blue, Size U

I used this for a 9 day Galapagos trip, and while it was OK and did the job in some fairly strong currents it took a bit of a battering and sadly looks pretty awful now. The tiny clips are awkward to open with gloves on as they are so small and they are now corroded and look terrible. The clips are not stainless steel. I could not clip it back on to anything easily so tended to hook it back up out of the way using the hook itself on my camera rig.

after only 3 days in the water, clasps encrusted with white powder as if its corroded and doesn't shut on its own without force!! will be speaking to amazon about this!
