Trijicon RMR HD/SRO Battery Cap Tool, Red, AC30007

The tool works well and doesn't damage the finish.

This does what it is supposed to do - remove and replace battery cap without marring the Trijicon optic. Some have complained their tool has failed during use. If this has happened, then the battery cap was installed too tight. Refer to the instruction manual for the optic. If the battery cap was installed too tight then you may need to get it started with a coin, screwdriver ... then avoid over tightening when replacing the cap. I bought this so I will not complain about the price. The tool probably cost less than $1 to manufacture.

Not even strong enough to get the battery cap to budge. This is thin plastic and has no ability to torque the SRO battery cap loose. Now I need to spend more money on a metal tool to replace this one. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Just pay the $$ and get over it. I now have three of these; permanent tool kit, range bag, and safe queen spare. They work fine even though you'll have to get used to the "flex". After the initial opening I use a small amount high quality, conductive, never-seize on the cap threads for my RMR's and scopes. Saves down the road problems.

Perfect for my son who works in security.

This doesn't quite fit the screw cap firmly and you have to play with it.

It works , little piece of plastic, i have 4 SRO'S this should be included for $600 . Shane on you . TRijicon , dont be so gready... $25 for this little plastic thing, i own 6 Trijicon optics, 4 SRO'S. I like the fact you dont have to un-mount optic th change batery, but thi tool should be included , for sure. A screwdriver will scratch optic, oh well , plz listen to true suporter ,,,Doc!!!!
