Purewell PFAS-Free 6-Stage Gravity Water Filter System with PC Water Level Window, Certified to Reduce Lead, Total PFAS (Forever Chemicals), Mercury, and Chlorine, SF-2.25G

I'm very happy with this water filtration system. The stainless steel basins and stand is a good quality and sturdy. I found it easy to assemble. But I am also mechanically inclined. The system comes with 2 different spigots. A metal one and a plastic one. Be sure to put a rubber washer on the spigot you choose, then put it through the lower basin, then another rubber washer, then the nut. For the metal spigot, I made it as tight as I could get it. Pliers may work too, but don't over-tighten it. Then the filter threads right into the top basin, hanging down into the bottom basin. And you are ready to go. I'm using it to filter the water for a humidifier. I easily filter about 2 gallons in bulk available every day. The filters that were included were good. But I need zero TDS filters. So after trying it out, I decided to switch to the off-the-shelf zero TDS ZW filters that I could buy locally. They thread right on -- as designed. No problems. What a great idea to make this system compatible with an off-the-shelf filter. I noticed that the store-bought ZW filters work faster than the filters that came with the unit. So that's a pleasant surprise. I figured zero TDS would run slower but alas, they are faster. Go figure. And my hot water humidifiers are clean as a whistle compared to using tap or using any other kind of filter. Distilled water is the only thing better but it's annoying to get. Local stores are always sold out. I'm saving a lot of time and money filtering my own water this winter to keep the air properly moisturized. I hope this review helps someone.

Can over flow. I figured out best way is to fill up the top to about inch from top. Then use until empty. Then refill. If you attempt to keep it full all the time it’s difficult to keep it from overflowing. Other than that it’s amazing. Taste is obvious that it’s clean. No doubts. It stores within itself and is perfect for RVs.

We were so excited to get this Purewell PFAS free 6 stage filter system. It is the perfect size and the set up was very easy and quick. My only wish is that the water viewing window is very dark and its hard to see the water level. Actually the window was the reason I bought this model. So, I am disappointed because of that reason. But, the filtering system itself is great.

Wonderful water filter

We did order the pure will zero TDS seven stage gravity water filter system. The existing tap water which is on a city system, has a strong smell of chlorine as well as whatever else is in there. I tested before and after from the same tap and there is a big difference in total dissolved solid. The water does taste smoother and softer.

June 26, 2025 We wanted a small countertop water filtration system and this one popped up on my Amazon search. We received the unit two days ago and we are very pleased with the speed it filters. We used food coloring in the top tank to make sure we had the filters on tight enough. We are on well water and we test our water annually. The copper levels were higher than acceptable which is why we bought this filtration system. Water from the faucet shows high levels; water from the Purewell shows no copper. A product without a company behind it can be problematic. I am pleased to say I needed to contact Purewell and their response was timely, factual, and expressed a genuine interest in what we needed from them. They believe in their product. This is one of those rare companies who know we as consumers have choices and they appreciate it when we choose them. As with any product I review, I always end with the question of would I buy this again? Yes. Edit: July 10, 2025 We liked it so much we bought another one. We are very happy with both purchases.

Easy to set up and use.

The filtering of water works fantastic with this machine, but the machine tends to leak. I tried many ways to prevent this from happening (it did not do it every day), but at least once a week I would come downstairs and there will be water all over the floor, it actually ruined part of my hardwood floor. After that, I sent it back.
