STRIPES Beauty (by Naomi Watts) - Dew As I Do Vitamin C Moisturizer

I love Stripes Beauty products!!! I have several now, & I love every one of them!!! I am a 53 year old menopausal woman, & Stripes Beauty products are aimed towards perimenopausal & menopausal women. They are wonderful, & would be a wonderful addition to anyone's beauty routine. The Dew As I Do is a wonderful daily moisturizer that leaves skin soft & glowing.

Helps to have glowing skin.

I am sorry to say that this face cream doesn't work for me. I find it frustrating to apply, and to use it under makeup. My morning routine is pretty standard, cleanser, toner, eye cream, vitamin C and/or hyaluronic serum, then this cream, and my problem with it is that it makes a lot of pilling. It doesn't matter how much time I give the serum to be absorbed before applying the face cream, it still pills a lot. It does help a little if I just pat it on my skin instead of applying it with gentle strokes as I usually do with everything I put on my face, but then the same happens when I try to apply any kind of makeup on top of it, it is more pilling. My makeup is very light, just some CC cream and some concealer around my eyes, so it's not like I am layering a lot of heavy stuff on top of it. I use a couple of different brands of CC cream and concealer, and the pilling happens with all of them, so the culprit is this face cream, which is he only new item in my tried and true routine. Oh and it doesn't matter if I apply the CC cream with my fingers, a brush or a sponge, the moment it makes contact with the cream the pilling starts.

I find fragrance totally unecessary. Zero reason to add that to face cream. I was surprised I did not react to it with redness. I found this product light, hydrating and a little goes a long way., it absorbed nicely. Quality product. Price could be a tad lower.

Expensive. It seems like a great product, so it may well have the value to merit the cost, but it is not going to be something affordable for the every-woman, so to speak. Once again, separation of the classes based on what someone can afford. Also, while the fragrance is nice, it is unnecessary. I thought this was supposed to be a clean product? Why insert something else just because, and not only that, but something vague like "fragrance"? Anyone who has been paying attention to ingredients in the last decade or longer is wary of that word. I will probably not be buying this again.

I was having many struggles post menopause with applying any type of light foundation on my skin, it just seemed to sit on my face and this moisturizer along with the Power Move Serum makes my foundation look flawless! Even if you don't want to wear makeup your skin will look and feel moisturized and more youthful.

Recently my estrogen took a long walk off a short dock, and the Stripes products have saved my skin and my sanity. Nothing else was working, thank you, Naomi. Highly recommend.
