Abu Garcia Revo Rocket Spinning Fishing Reel

Rocket is an understatement, this sucker launches. I’ve caught multiple fish and the drag and retrieval is flawless. I can’t wait to purchase the Rocket bait caster. Go fishing people and have fun!!!

They got it right when they named it rocket. I have a lot of fast retrieve reels for walleye and bass. This has a great retrieval rate, and the right amount of drag. Super smooth to operate. Two of my fishing buddies each bought one after using mine.

Love Abu Garcia Reels this is our second one, this reel the AG Revo3 Rocket is smooth, the quality is top notch but a little spendy like my wife's AG Premier 30 on the right side in the picture. The Trout and Bass have no idea what's coming I can't wait LOL. This reel is really good for 2-16 lb. fish, and the drag will crank down to 11 lbs. I'm in AZ now not AK so the gear is much different so I'm still learning. Good buy just remember to keep it lubricated like all mechanical things.

This is my second Revo Rocket spinning reel and I also have the Baitcaster, quick retrieval and smooth operation. Casting ahead of the boat while trolling the speed of the reel allows for perfect retrieve

What a great reel!!! I took it out for the firat time today. I caught 12 bass and one being a 5lb and handled it great.

I wanted a fast reel and this one ticks all the right boxes. I have the 3000 and the reel handles itself with game fish like bonitos, australian salmon as well as being able to work small plastics as I put only 10lb braid. Best is the clicker on the drag... it positively screams .. a sound that most fishos like to hear

Avoid this reel. Bail isn't set properly. The handle is not smooth as it should be at this price point. Honestly feels similar to a lower end Mitchel. In comparison even my cheaper Shimanos feel better and smoother. I was beyond excited for this speedy reel and wish they had the quality of Shimano. As tempting as it may be I would not buy this reel and stay away from Abu Garcia products in the future. Honestly feels like they raised their prices in an attempt to seem higher end, instead they should have been producing a superior product.

Ich fische die Abu Garcia Revo Rocket 30 jetzt seit einigen Wochen und bin wirklich begeistert. Schon beim Auspacken merkt man, dass man ein hochwertiges Produkt in der Hand hat. Die Rolle läuft unglaublich weich, ist angenehm leicht und harmoniert perfekt mit meiner Spinnrute (SAVAGE GEAR SG4 2,43m 35-100g und mit der Maximus High Energy Z 230cm 10-45g). Was mich am meisten beeindruckt, ist die hohe Einholgeschwindigkeit. Gerade beim aktiven Spinnfischen kann ich den Köder viel besser kontrollieren und habe die Schnur sofort wieder auf Spannung. Auch bei mehreren Stunden am Wasser macht sich das geringe Gewicht positiv bemerkbar, die Kombination fühlt sich einfach ausgewogen und komfortabel an. Die Bremse arbeitet sauber und zuverlässig, selbst bei stärkeren Fischen hatte ich jederzeit volles Vertrauen in das Material. Auch die Schnurverlegung ist tadellos, wodurch Würfe weit und präzise gelingen. Ich habe in den letzten Jahren einige Rollen verschiedener Hersteller gefischt, aber die Revo Rocket 30 hat sich sehr schnell einen festen Platz in meiner Ausrüstung verdient. Für mich eine Investition, die sich absolut gelohnt hat. Klare Kaufempfehlung, ich habe bereits die zweite und bin mehr als zufrieden! 🎣

I always have confidence in Abu Garcia reels. This red Revo Rocket is a mid range reel, well-priced, and the 7.5:1 high ratio is wonderful for fishing bass which likes to swim fast towards the angler once it is hooked.
