I don't even have long or curly hair. I'm just a guy with dry frizzy hair :(Matrix is a great brand so I saw this hair cream and light gel and decided to give it a shot.The hair cream is amazing, I simply put some on after I take a shower and it helps keep my hair and scalp moisturized without drying out. It has a nice 'Lotion' smell to it too, doesn't smell fruity or anything.The hair gel is also amazing, it's a light styling gel with a decent hold. My favorite thing about it is that it applies very well with damp hair and a little bit of water. Many hair gels don't like being mixed with water or damp hair, but not this. It holds my hair all day no problem with zero flaking. It also has a nice pleasant smell to it while being subtle. Also doesn't smell fruity or anything like that.Besides the name "A Curl Can Dream" implying that it's for women, nowhere on the bottle does it say it's for women only. No fruity or flower smells or glitter or any of that. It absolutely can be used as Unisex for men and women.I'm just a regular guy and honestly I feel like I found a hidden gem. Try it! I have natural waves but haven’t worn my hair naturally in 8+ years. I have highlights and straighten or have used the curling iron my hair every day. I wanted to try the natural curl trend and see what my hair would look like.Using the cream and gel combo brought back my natural waves. My hair actually curled, more then I expected.

Will certainly keep using these products. Can alternate between using both or just one depending on humidity, and thankful using both doesn’t leave my hair greasy. My curls will even stay after sleeping which is nice. Also prefer the smell of these over Moroccan brand products.

My kids and I have natural beach wave hair and these products really smooth the frizz & define those wavy soft curls. I love it!

Didn’t even use. Once I received and opened the bottle to see what it smelled like I realized it had too strong a scent for me. Too bad cause my stylist highly recommended it for my curly hair.
