This Chromebook is brilliant. I've used it more as a tablet so far to play games on, the play store is available on here and easy to use. Everything on the tablet is very easy to manoeuvre, especially if you're already accustomed to using android systems, though even if not it shouldn't take too long to get used to. The first start up you need to download a few updates and have a few restarts before you can get going, but they don't take too long to do. So far I've only used the tablet for some internet browsing and downloading and playing games. Everything has worked quickly, even turning on the tablet is very quick. The pen comes with the 8gb RAM option, it is the first time I've used one of these so I can't compare to others, but it does the job it's supposed to do, it's much more accurate than a simple stylus and I had fun using the handwriting app to have a play, watching it turn my writing into typed text. I use it a bit while playing some games, but can see it would be great for someone that creates art on their tablets. The keyboard is very easy to attach, it has a strong magnet that snaps it into place and it works straight away, there's no loading time or anything, just snap it on and off as and when needed. It works well and feels just like a normal small laptop. The case is very sturdy, it too as magnetic so it snaps into place. I was concerned when reading at the time of purchase that the stand would wear out quite quickly with it being in use a lot but it's definitely strong. It has hinges on it so it's not just some bendy material that will wear out, so it's made very well and I can see it lasting a long time. The case itself is also very smart looking. The only issue I could find is that you have to have the keyboard attached so that the screen has some protection. So if you are taking it out and only need the tablet, you will still need to take the keyboard with you. It's only a small issue really as the keyboard isn't adding a drastic amount of weight or anything, it's more about having the option of taking it with you or not. Overall I absolutely love this tablet, it's built well, very sturdy accessories and definitely worth the money spent on it, great value product.

I did lots of research and landed on this product. It’s doing me very well a year later. Does everything I need for a computer and I can use as a tablet for streaming and using canva. I love the purchase and would recommend. I also like that it came with the sleeve, keyboard and pen as an addition - some other sites didn’t offer this. Sound quality is good- goes crackly sometimes when it on low battery but goes back to normal when plugged in. I got a Bluetooth mouse and connects great. Definitely value for money and really easy to use and set up. Weight is good, feels quality without being too heavy to travel with. Looks modern and clean with the design with a good sized screen to switch between laptop mode to table mode.

I purchased this Chromebook as a replacement for my 2015 MacBook Air. I'm a student at University and after my first year I wanted something I could use to write notes during lectures but also type on if I wanted. This Chromebook mostly delivers on that. I found it extremely difficult to find reviews where the reviewer spoke about the hand writing with the stylus. It's pretty good, totally useable if not quite as good as say an iPad. I would rate it at maybe 90% as good. The keyboard is OK, you can smash out emails or type out lecture notes. But I would not want to type an assignment on this thing it's a little cramped. The track pad is mediocre. I read some reviews that said it was OK but I struggle to use it, it's a little bit too small and lacks the sensitivity of say a MacBook. The display is fab, nice colours and contrast ratio. I have never had a problem using it indoors but can't comment on it's outdoors performance. The battery life is fantastic. On 100% it's showing as over 10 hours and I can absolutely believe that. Connectivity is also great, the USB C connections means connecting to an external display is super easy and my Uni recently added these to the library. It turns my little Chromebook into a proper tool. Installing the Microsoft Office web apps was a breeze through my Uni account, although performance even on the 8GB model is a little sluggish. But once booted up it works fine. Recommended for light use, if you're considering this to be a direct and only replacement for a laptop then I'd consider a different Chromebook. BUT if you're in the market for a kind of tablet kind of laptop that's super easy to take with you then I'd recommend it.

I went for the 8Gb memory plus 128Gb storage which comes with a pen included. At the time of writing it was £100 difference vs the 4Gb/64Gb version and the pen alone was £40 value so the actual difference was really £60 for double the memory and storage. A no brainer if money is not too tight. It's a truly phenomenal device. It's well built, looks great, isn't heavy and is fast enough although not what I'd call lightning quick. Essentially it's perfectly adequate for day to day web browsing, office web apps, YouTube and consuming other content. The real magic is clipping on the magnetic keyboard which turns it into a proper little laptop. I was quickly and easily able to create documents and spreadsheets, as well as do some time tracking etc. I thought the keyboard/trackpad would be too small but they are perfectly functional. I particularly like the fact it supports more than just online content so not only do I get web apps, I also get Android app compatibility and it even supports the Linux development environment so I was able to install VSCode and various Python libraries with next to no fuss. All in all this is the perfect device to take away with you on holiday, for school or just as a second device to keep you in touch. Absolutely outstanding!

I've used Windows all my life and thought I'd try this IdeaPad, but I have to say it's awful to use. No delete key, no function keys, doesn't stay connected to wifi so have to hotspot it to my S24. I use google docs and sheets a lot but it's very tiresome trying to figure out how this thing works. It's extremely frustrating and far easier to use my phone rather than the detachable tablet. Can't set up several google profiles like I can with Windows it drives me insane, don't like it at all. If you are not used to Windows I suppose it would be fine but I rarely use it unless I can't gain access to my PC for a bit.

I bought this Levono tablet to replace a faulty tablet built by a lesser known Chinese manufacturer. (The manufacturer wanted me to send the faulty unit back for replare via courier to China at my own expense - £120.00!! - even though it was still under warranty! - whereas Amazon arranged for a next -day collection and refund at no quibble! - so 5-stars to Amazon). I chose Levovo after using their PC's at work and that unlike my previous tablet, Lenovo is a well known manufacturer. (Plus I think that should it goes wrong, they're not likely to want me to send it to China to be mended and at my own expense). The build of the tablet and detactable keyboard is very sturdy. The cases to the tablet is metal with a smooth satin anodised finish. The keyboard has a fabric weaved backing. The stand to the tablet when used as a laptop is a bit unusual though. It attaches magnetically to the back of the tablet, making it detachable - useful in someways I suppose - but if you forget to take it out with you when using the keyboard you'll have to prop it up with a book or something. The covering to the stand is - like the keyboard - covered with a fabric weave. Time will tell how well how well the fabric on the stand and keyboard copes with normal wear and tear. The keys to the keyboard have a very good positive touch to them. The keyboard itself connects to the tablet very firmly. There's little danger of the keyboard coming adrift accidentally. The 10.95" display on the screen is crisp, and the colours are very good. (I would've liked to get a tablet with a 12" screen, but money dictated otherwise). Some have complained that there is no 3.5 mm sterio headphone socket on this tablet and that the sound from the speakers is tinny. That is true. However the unit comes with a USB-C to 3.5 mm converter as the unit only has 2 USB-C sockets on either end of the case. These serve as charging and audio output. The audio quality is good through earbuds, whereas it's a bit tinney through tablet speakers. But one cannot expect full sterio surround-sound with full bass with a unit of this size. Speed-wise I'm no expert when it comes to processor speed compaired to others, but to me it's very good. As regards to the operating system .... this is my first venture into the world of ChromeOS, so I'm still finding my way round it. In desktop mode it feels and looks like Windows, whereas in tablet form it looks like typical Android. The only thing I think Lenovo should've included in the build is a mini SD card slot. The only other problem - which is not Lenovo's fault - is the lack of tablet cases that can take the tablet and keyboard for this model. Overall Im pretty pleased with it.

I order this based on reviews and write up. Seems a nice little notebook but useless for college, not compatible at all with any of my daughters work. Very disappointed. My advice is not to get it for 6th formers or college goers. I perhaps have given a too low score but this is based on the write ups and feedbacks which just don't seem to be on point.

Keep in mind that I bought the 8GB RAM 128GB and that considering other reviews, other versions (4GB RAM 64/128GB) could come with different accessories or performance. Since the description is not clear on what the package comes with, here are the contents they sent to me: a keyboard, a case, an adapter for Jack to USB-C, the penholder, and the Lenovo pen USI 2.0 pen itself. See attached images. UPDATE: 12OCT2023 So far, so good. The first thing after setting everything up was to make sure I was using the latest version of the ChromeOS. Initially, it was in version 103 and I had to, manually, "Check for Updates" multiple times to get to the latest version, which is 117 as of the time of this review. Before buying, I checked some people saying that there were battery drain issues and that they resolved this a few months ago. To confirm this, I have been shutting down the tablet and leaving it alone overnight, plus a few more hours. I was pleased to see that it did not spend any percentage of battery. I went to sleep with 91% battery and after hours it was still with 91%. Another thing I stumbled upon is that there is a known bug for ChromeOS regarding using the on-screen keyboard while using Linux apps inside the Linux container. This means that for any Linux apps you want to use, you need to use them with the keyboard attached. As of right now, this is not fixed and there are no previsions as to when that will happen. Keep this in mind if you want to use Linux apps in tablet mode. I will try to update this review when this is fixed. One minor discovery I did not find in reviews was that the pen has a magnet, so it's possible to put the pen on one side of the tablet, magnetically. The pen holder is not the only place you can attach it to (it should be more secure, though). The pen comes with an AAAA battery (just one inside) instead of being rechargeable. Before the first use, you are supposed to open the pen. When opening it, make sure to only remove the small black insulation pad and not the attached paper inside, as removing it will cause the pen to stop working. ______________ UPDATE: 10OCT2023 I did not use it yet because I wanted to add a review including what accessories the package comes with first.
