A Great (if built right) Console Chassis
It's one of the easiest cases I've built in, taking just over an hour from unboxing everything to getting it operational, and by far one of the best for maintenance and dust cleaning as the side panels use one thumbscrew per presuming you dont unscrew them and keep the screws off (the peg latches still lock the panels firmly to the chassis). While there were some signal issues with the stock riser bracket and extender card, the 5cm Linkup straight riser is a good replacement if you encounter signal issues and dont want a bracket replacement and/or want support for future gen 5 pcie gpus. It's a good case that rewards you IF* your build is done right, not merely throwing parts in it (those who blame the case for their bad thermals often suffer due to a low capacity or undersized cpu cooler or an open air gpu exhausting into the motherboard region....or both), and you have the right type of gpu, not merely size (horizontal finstack gpus such as axial hybrids and blower cards are better for this case vs open air), proper ram height for a high capacity lp cooler (ram height determines clearance of what cooler you can fit), and get the right psu for easy cable management, this case certainly does deliver. Now ultimately it's up to whoever to figure out their build, but for my 9800x3d and modified 5060, I found my gpu did best without the stock aspect 140s, which turned this build whisper quiet for normal operation and gaming. I also run an axp120x67 with a Silverstone air slimmer 120 fanswap, Corsair sf750 atx 3.1 (which made tying everything into one neat bundle tucked into an airflow deadzone easy), Rog Strix b850i, and 2x 16gb flare x5 in cl36 config, alongside system and bios tuning, and phazesheet ptm. Idles are 40c cpu, 25c gpu, and gaming temps at 50-70w cpu are 55-70c, and 90c max at 163w, with gpu temps running 35-64c from 40w to 110w and 70c max at 110% power/160w. Overal, its a great case for its price, especially if you're looking to make a diy ps5 or midsized desktop console/diy steam machine, and its backside sata mounts make it easy to fit 2 satas for general data storage.

Rigid, high quality, easy to build, lots of cooling options.
Incredible case. It was first time for me to build a PC and it was such a pleasant experience. Case feels rigid and let's you build comfortably. If your hand grow from the right place -- you can finish your build in a hour easily, maybe faster. good stuff. recommended. Temperatures are ok as well if you're not putting 5090 in there and you are using 100W TDP processor. In my case, i was using Minisforum BD790i X3D board. It comes with the pre-installed processor and cooler. Also, the airflow of this cooler goes out of the pc case, which is amazing. Noise levels are great and CPU temps in my case are below 85 C. My RTX 5060 stays at 65 C.

Best looking console/HTPC style case that can fit some larger GPU's
This review is for the Fractal Ridge ITX case in black color. I purchased this case specifically for its looks and horizontal configuration ability. I think it looks great and matches my other black components on my TV console table. The white components inside the case really isn't noticeable at all outside of the case. Component installation is very easy and straight forward. Just follow the directions for the power supply (SFX form factor only) and GPU installation. For GPU size, I recommend no more than a 2.5 slot thick GPU to keep the stock preinstalled case fans. The two case fans are 140mm and standard thickness. To use a 3 slot GPU you would be limited to a slim fan or no case fans and cooling performance would be affected. The GPU in my pictures is the Asrock 9070 XT Steel Legend and is 2.5 half slots thick. The case fans are right on top and touch the GPU shroud, but it keeps the GPU cool. I do strongly recommend removing the top of the case, then remove the preinstalled fans, install the GPU, then carefully slide the fans down into position and screw them in and make sure they are intaking air (blowing air onto the GPU). Note the included 140mm case fans have a lip and are specially designed to fit this case as intake so that the fan blades do not rub against the frame. If you replace the fans, you may have to use spacers to prevent the fan blades from touching the frame. Do note that the CPU heatsink is limited to 70mm in height. This severely limits CPU choices. For me I found that my Ryzen 7 7800X3D would overheat and cause a system shutdown. My Ryzen 5 8400F gets really hot, at 95 Celsius but does not shutdown. My advice is to stick with Ryzen 5 or Core i5 series for this case. There is room at the top of the frame where the CPU is that can hold an 80mm fan but the screw holes are smaller than typical fan screws, so I'll have to see if I can find some screws that will fit. The side panels work on either side. I chose to have the CPU facing down and the GPU facing up to give better cooling for the GPU. Having the CPU facing up did not make a difference to the CPU temps. I think it really needs 80mm fan in CPU chamber. If this case was slightly thicker/wider to accommodate taller CPU coolers and 3 slot GPUs with the standard thickness side case fans, then it would have been the perfect small form factor build with no compromises. Due the compact layout, the thermal performance limits your component options. For me this works out because I'm using this PC with a 4k TV and gaming performance isn't bound by the CPU at 4k resolution and my 8400F is perfectly reasonable. I also recommend getting a motherboard with overclocking features not for overclocking but for the voltage controls to lower or limit the CPU voltage. I do recommend this case overall if you're looking for a home theater or console style case that looks great and fits in with other components. There just aren't too many options that have the looks, price, and compact size. Do note that there are some component choice compromises due the compact size.

Nice case
Nice, well built, solid case for a living room gaming/htpc console style build. I wish they would stop including cheap fans with case or offered the option to buy with out fans. I always upgrade the fans first, upgraded case fans to Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax black fans cause i want QUITE & max airflow!

9800x3d + RTX 5090 + this case = ultimate console sized machine!
Love this build! I have a 9800x3d pushing an RTX 5090 and it’s pretty challenging to maintain the temps but if you know how to undervolt the cpu and gpu, you can get the most out of this build in this case using the nh-l12s from Noctua. Highly highly recommend this case for its thin aesthetics, ease of building in, and great airflow for the volume! Also would highly recommend 10mm x 80mm fans for the top, especially if you’re using a giant gpu like I did.

Great stylish small case
I've loved it. Things worth noting: you can do it horizontal or vertical but it requires moving the feet so it's not like you set it up once and can just turn it over at will (I mean you can but it's not as nice). It IS tight so make sure you've checked your measurements against what you're putting in there. Mine has a 3080ti and it's snug with the default fans. I did pick up an AIO system but I don't think I can make it work. It's not just the width of the upper compartment but getting all your wires and tubes across inside. It gets really busy really quick. That said I still give if 5 stars. I knew it was small, that's part of why I picked it and I've had nothing else to complain about. Everything feels sturdy and good quality. I'd buy another case from this brand.

Design is in your name, right?
3.5 out of 5 for making me have to solve Fractal's airflow problems. This is a really good case for tight spaces in entertainment cabinets. My main complaint is the panels. First off, if you want the best airflow for your CPU, don't face the fan to take air inward. That's right. Turn the baby around. You want to blow that hot air out. Second, swap the panels of the case. That's correct, we're fixing Fractal Design's design. Fractal built this crap backwards. You can argue that, "oh, it's intended for you to swap panels around." Really? Then why does all the branding and fitment say other wise. No joke, The mesh doesn't exact line up perfectly when you do this does it? No. So, yeah we're fixing it. Anyway, if you want the best thermal configuration put the single mesh side on the CPU side with the fan blowing out while placing the double mesh side on the other side to pull in air for the GPU and allowing the CPU to pull air directly behind the Mobo through to expel all that heat this is absolutely building up in that baby. Then place some small fans on the top to exhaust the air from the GPU and you're golden. Don't worry about the air expelled out the back that'll get sucked up by the CPU fan and top exhaust now. No joke, dropped my temps 15C instantly and didn't need to undervolt anymore. Still did because I can get the same performance with an undervolt regardless which made my temps drop an additional 2C. Which brings me to my other even greater fix. Buy two cases. No seriously. Only if you can, mind you. I know, I know you have no use for two cases, I get, but hear me out. Double mesh paneling allows for a GPU flow through and CPU flow through design. This dropped my temps so much I was able to put a 13700K in this thing, I kid you not and it still doesn't hit T-Junction at full boar for 30 minutes. Why Fractal didn't think to just do two full mesh panels on both sides of this case is frankly baffling and whomever is at their design department should probably considering working somewhere else because it took me 2 hours of testing to figure this out. That's it. Granted I've been building computers for 30 years so experience with airflow isn't new for me, but I didn't need any kind of fancy chamber from Linus Tech Tips or Gamers Nexus to figure this out, so what's Fractal's excuse? Anyway, do this and you and your build will thank me. Anyway, getting on to the case itself. Despite this one glaring flaw, this case is fantastic for it's size and functionality with most entertainment cabinets. Cable management can be a bit of a challenge for routing especially given your choices of PSUs but a good Corsair SFX has plenty of cable for proper routing and clever tucking. I've been using this in my entertainment hutch and it's been fantastic. The only other criticism I have for this case is the power extension cable. Serious what is with this companies not understanding SFF means fitting over powered shhh ... stuff ... in tight spaces? To the point, I had a problem fitting my air cooler in this case without having to compromise on my cooling solution. I wanted to fit a Noctua NF-A12x25 fan at my CPU fan. Conventional? No. Exceeding efficient at cooling? Yes. So I took the cable off it's hinges at the rear of the case, pulled the adapter out, placed the retention mount back behind the adapter and tied the cable down to the base of the case so it wouldn't pull lose. Perfect. I'm not building this thing to be pretty from the rear. It needs to be functional. Doing this made room for my Mobo and cooler without issue. I'll be sure toshow some picks next time I have to clean the case which should be in the next month or so. Stupid dust. Anyway, then hopefully you get a better idea of what I'm talking about. Overall the value of the case isn't that great considering I had buy to two to truly get what I wanted out of it. But it really comes down to asking yourself, "is this the only solution?" If so, buy it. Put up with it's flaws and fix them yourself. Hell, if I had a mesh stamping clamp I would have used it but this was the fastest and best solution for me. And it's well worth it cause it works. And if your answer to my earlier question is, "no." Go with something that can offer you better cooling solutions overall while giving you a better build experience. I'd recommend Thermaltake's TR100. It has it's own minor flaws, but compared to this it's a breeze to work with.

Thin and Beautiful, with Quirks
I love this case. Originally ordered a white one that got cancelled, and ended up going for the black version - a blessing in disguise, as it suits my setup very well. There is plenty of room for 4 x 2.5" SSDs, and the included 140mm fans ensure that my GPU is never starved of fresh air. The CPU on the other hand definitely runs hot - I've got a 3900X with a slim noctua fan. My solution has been to zip tie a 140mm fan to the exterior, which looks a bit odd, but does the trick. I've also recently moved the thing off of my standing desk, to underneath. If you want a thin case, you've got good cable management, and you want this case - you'll be happy with it. For high-end gaming, hot temps, and lots of storage, you're not in the right place. It's got its flaws, but for my use it's ideal.

Nice "console" like itx case
Nice case, good room for larger video cards, decent air flow. I chose the thermal right ap120 in an am4 itx board and a 6700xt. Read the instructions before you build to avoid confusion or headaches, its easy to build in if you take out the correct screws

Casi excelente...
