A must have
Great buy. Perfect for cutting branches. After reading some reviews I got the smaller one so there was less bending on the blade and it worked out perfectly.

Very sharp and effective
Came very sharp and lubricated, it cuts very thick branches real quick with minimal effort, worth it in any survival kit or emergency kit or just as a basic must have tool.

8", 10" or 12". They're all good saws. Don't need name brand saws
Update 1/31/25I have found that 8" saw is most people will need to cut branches up to 5" or even 7" with a good strategy.Update 1/18/25This review is for the 10" version (I have returned the 12" due to it has the same blade thickness with the 10" version, just 2" longer (also 2" longer for the handle) this makes it less stable.) I just cut a maple log 8.5" in diameter 1 hour before this writing. It took me 20minutes to do so (with break) . This is phenomenon for a 65 year old man with a chronic disease (I could do it in 5 min in my better days.) I will try out the 8" version tomorrow when it arrives.Update 1/17/25:I used this 12" saw for the first time. I cut 8" maple tree fell across the trail into 3 sections (with easy). Also cut several branches but these are nothing. Now I decide to keep this saw and return the 20" one.I have pole saw and a fixed pull saw (10") with blades similar to this one. I love to use both of them around my yard because they are very effective cutters. I bought this saw hoping that It could be used to clear out my bike trail from branches. Upon receiving the saw, I found that the blade is very thin and weak compared to other saws which I have. This cheap saw could be OK for light duty works if it is handled withcare. (cut only on pull with little pressure.)

Great value!
Great saw! I run a group of trail maintenance volunteers and we love these saws. Inexpensive so I don’t need to worry about losing one but cuts very efficiently. The curved blade helps it cut more efficiently without getting hung up. Folds easily so we can ride with it in our packs.
