Great steps for an above ground pool
These are great steps as long as you weight them down.I bought 2 sets, one for inside and one for outside. The outside set I weighed down with 4 - 12 inch cement paver stones set on 2x2 beams I set across the frame and it was very sturdy. The inside I had a little more trouble with and ended up using plastic sand bags with about 80 lbs of sand and it worked ok, but could have used more weight. I also connected them together to help stabilize them.A couple of FYI's....the hand rails are not very sturdy and cannot support much weight so don't try leaning on them. And the rise of the steps is a little higher than I thought it would be so if you have mobility issues and can't bend your knees very much, this may be an issue.

Quality
They are ok for the price but you will definitely have to have weights to hold down in water, easy to put together. Depending on how much I have to spend on weights may have been cheaper to buy better set

Easily accessible
These above ground pool steps are 100% worth the money. They have made our pool so much more accessible not only for my mother, who has a hard time with her mobility, but for our twin boys who are 2. They look wonderful too! They are very sturdy, easy to put together and install. Perfect size and fit because they don’t take up a ton of room in our 21ft round pool.

Flimsy
I don’t think I got the steps that I thought I was supposed to get but trying to make do with the item. This contraption was supposed to make it easier/safer for people to get out of the above ground pool. The steps are not that slip resistant and the railings have too much movement in them. The weights that were advertised to support this stair were not what is described in the directions. I fortunately have a friend who is trying to make the stairs safer. But, I’m disappointed in it; don’t want to return it because I’m not sure what Amazon might send me next. The order was left on the road by Fed Ex ( by the way) & not brought to my door like most Amazon purchases are.

Takes some ingenuity
First thing I did after the easy assembly was zip tie the supplied plastic cross bar to the frame. It wanted to come loose otherwise. Then I found some U-galvanized post that I had lying around the shop that fit perfectly between the plastic supports (28 inches length) to become a second cross piece for weight support. Then I bought a four-inch diameter Schedule 40 plastic pipe and two sets of caps. I cut the PVC into two pieces and glued one cap on. Then mixed concrete to go inside both pipes. Finally cemented on the remaining two caps. When I floated the steps into my pool (sinks slowly as air escapes), I tilted the assembly forward and then dropped my PVC pipe weights into the bottom, resting on the lower front crosspiece that I made and the higher supplied plastic brace that I had zip-tied in place. All that remained was to walk the assembly forward into place. Didn’t even get wet above the ankles (still too cold).Did not need to fasten the supplied mounts to my pool deck. Feels very sturdy. Oh and I almost forgot, I followed another purchaser’s advice here and cut up a suction cup bath mat, doubling it up on both bottom runners for a pad to protect the liner floor. The bath mat was also attached with zip ties.

Awful company
DONT NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!! The ladder rails are flimsy, too small for my pool! I tried to return it and they wanted me to pay for shipping which was 304.00!!! The cost of the ladder was cheaper, they had the audacity to tell me they will credit 45.60 towards the shipping WHAT AN INSULT! But BEWARE STAY AWAY!!

Sturdy They work great with sandbags
The media could not be loaded. The stairs are wide. Can just sit on the stairs to relax from swimming. Grandchildren love them. Best investment
