APEXEL Macro Lens Kit for Smartphone,10X Macro Lens + CPL Filter with Multi-Function Lens Clip for iPhone 16/15/14/13 Pro Max, Samsung, Android Phone (Fits for Almost All Phone), Lens Attachment

Works well!

Doesn't fit nicely

I have an IPhone 13 So I bought this lens because it’s way more affordable and realistic for me to buy rather than a full on camera; especially because I’m as beginner as can be. My friend who owns a photography business helped me to choose this lens as he said he was the best quality and best price for what I’m after. I do field research and so good photos are an absolute must, as well as keeping my luggage to a minimum. This lens is just insanely easy to use. You literally just put it on your phone; there is no setup or app required! The instructions also tell you exactly how to use it which is just which camera to put it on depending on the make the model as well as troubleshooting. I will say the macro lens is different from a regular lens so please read the instructions. For instance you must hold it at a certain distance for it to work and also focus on the object and THEN zoom in as well which is a common issue I see people having. In the photos I provided, I showcase comparisons as well as the power of this little lens. Figure one is showing a bug using the lens, and Figure Two is using my phone camera. Figure three is using the lens, figure four is using my phones camera. With the first two the differences are noticeable but not as drastic as the ant ones; I could not focus my phones camera on it for the life of me! The rest of the photos I added just to further show you all the power of this lens. I was so incredibly impressed at the detail, and so very excited. I’m going to annoy so many critters with photo shoots.

Not good quality

I love macro photography and had high hopes for this lens. The online description says it works with Samsung and Android phones. Unfortunately, I could not get the stretch clip lens holder to align with my Samsung S22 Plus. This is made for iPhones, as the directions only show lens placement for iPhones. I tried holding the macro lens up to my primary phone lens, but it's impossible to hold it in place and I didn't want to risk scratching my phone's lens. Definitely disappointed since the description was misleading. Packing is nice and quality of the lens seems good, but too bad I can't use it.

This lens is fantastic and works very well on my phone! It is better than I expected!

This is the second one I've purchases, this one as a gift for a fellow-photographer. It's a bit tricky and doesn't always give great results, but it is fun. Once you get the hang of it you can get some amazing macro images. On another note, the packaging is great, all contained in a very well made zippered case.
