20 Pack 1" x 1" Square Post Flange Base, Aluminum Wall Mount Rail End Bracket for Deck Fence Railing, Tube Connector

A perdect fit. My railings were 1¼. So I got the 1¼ size. I painted them and these just bairly slid right in making a snug perfect fit.

Great product

I used these to connect 1.5" square wood rails to 3.5"square posts. They made connecting the pieces easy without having to drill and screw them together diagonally. I wish the flanges with the bolt holes were slightly smaller because they do go over the edges of a 3.5" post if used horizontally. They also don't take paint very well if you plan on painting them. They did make the job a lot easier though.

The bracket is so poorly designed, and the sidewalls of the bracket upright is made of a aluminum composite that cannot withstand even a 2 foot tall, aluminum square post with a little tension, and it snaps and breaks. You can’t use a bracket that crumbles to nothing! I wouldn’t buy it again. It has no- strength. Only the base remains and the entire sidewall crumble to pieces, leaving me without an ability to put up a lightweight nylon canopy. So I am stuck without any shade because of the poor craftsmanship.. it is worse, worthless. The 1x1 aluminum square tubing is amazing but the brackets I bought to use are worthless junk!

If you have a 1 1/2" square post, these WILL NOT fit over them. They ironically are the same, so its a waste. They should be 1/8" bigger. I tried to gently tap them on, and they failed by snapping in 1/2. Wear goggles.

Worked perfectly with 1” square tube to mount a TV on a boat
