I recently purchased the Layla Pillow, and it has been a game-changer for my sleep. I rarely ever write a review so for me to do this means a lot!!!Was starting to get lower back, shoulder (mainly on the side that I sleep on), and neck pain. Was thinking that it was due from the years of kickboxing, and sitting at a desk until I went for a massage and they worked the biggest knot out of my shoulder I felt instantly better. After that session a few nights later my shoulder and back started acting up again but this time I had noticed I was sleeping on that side again. I started doing research and noticed there are different pillows for the different positions of sleep. I did start stacking a travel pillow on top of my normal pillow (a memory foam cool temp pillow from Costco) and noticed that my mornings of aches and pains were less than what the were when I just had the one so I knew I needed a new pillow. I finally narrowed down to the Lala or the one that was about $60 more. I selected this one because I had the option to remove the filling if it's too high (5'1 petite frame) and I if I wasn't satisfied I could return it within the specified time frame. I didn't care if the cover was not removable because I would be using a pillow case on it anyways and I could handle spot cleaning and if need be I can carefully remove the filling and wash the whole thing. Also, the higher end I wasn't sure how it would feel actually laying on my back before I go to sleep just kind of skimming the last of emails, social media or whatever prior to calling it a night I wanted to have this option too.The moment I received it I was prepared to let it air out 24hrs because like others mentioned there was a chemical smell. The next evening I slapped a pillow case on it and was ready to test it out. It was a little high at first but this is what I wanted, I just needed to get used to the Layla vs. normal pillow shape memory foam pillow. First nights sleep was great! I woke up with absolutely no pain what so ever and I'm happy to say two weeks later this is still the same. Now my only somewhat "con" to this pillow, please remember I am coming from a memory foam pillow so I've been spoiled to this, but I do find I have to flip the pillow every night because the pieces of foam do shift towards the top of my head but that's to be expected since I read other experienced the same. This was the only reason I gave it 4 stars.This side sleeper loves this pillow and I'm keeping it!

I was having sleep problems so I went on the search for a new pillow. This one was GIANT. I don't love it but I also don't hate it. I will probably return it because it's too expensive to keep if I don't LOVE it. It's comfortable enough for your head but as a side sleeper I put my arm closest to the mattress tucked under the pillow. Well with this pillow that doesn't not work. This pillow is too heavy to allow your arm to rest comfortably under this big monster. Surprisingly though, I haven't been a back sleeper really ever because it's too uncomfortable for me but I've found I've woken up on my back and I don't have a headache and my neck isn't stiff when using this pillow. I wish it would have checked all my needs off with this pillow but it doesn't. Sadly this pillow will be going back.

Found this pillow after doing some research and safe to say. this was a good purchase. The pillow its self comes over stuffed so you can adjust to your liking. I was worried i'd have to buy more stuffing but nope! I've slept like a baby with this pillow and have already purchased another for my wife! so she stops stealing mine..

I really wanted to love this pillow. After reading the marketing claims about "advanced support" and "hotel-quality loft," I decided to splurge, thinking it would be a long-term investment in my sleep. Unfortunately, it has been a massive disappointment.​The Issues:​Zero Structural Integrity: For a pillow at this price point, you expect some level of resilience. Instead, the second your head touches the fabric, it collapses completely. It doesn't just "contour"—it goes completely flat, leaving your neck at a strained angle against the mattress.​Constant Re-fluffing Required: I find myself waking up multiple times a night to punch and shake the pillow back into shape. Within ten minutes, it’s a pancake again.​Poor Value for Money: I’ve owned budget pillows from big-box stores that maintained their loft better than this "luxury" item. Paying a premium for what essentially feels like a bag of air is frustrating.​Final Verdict:​If you are a side sleeper or anyone who needs actual neck support, stay away. This pillow is all marketing and no substance. It looks great when you first make the bed, but for actual sleeping, it’s useless. I will be seeking a refund immediately.

My wife and I have been using the Layla Kapok pillow for several years, and we've used them exclusively since we got them. Our teenage daughter has been begging for us to get her one, so we decided to get her one for Christmas (it was the #1 thing on her list). The new pillow we bought seemed to have about half of the filling as the older ones we have...it also seemed to have some harder pieces mixed in. Our daughter likes a thicker pillow, and there was definitely not enough filling for that. I contacted Layla to see if it were possible to get more filling, and I was told that that is currently not an option, but they are working on it.Come on Layla, this is a $100+ pillow. Don't cut corners by sending pillows with less fill and then expect people to buy an additional pillow just to get a more filling. Plenty of other options for memory foam pillows on Amazon, and those companies often include an additional package of fill with your initial purchase. Unfortunately, we're beyond the return window on these because we bought them back in May when there was a special. Like I said, we used to like this pillows, but it seems like the company is trying to save some money at the expense of their product and consumers.

I'm a pretty picky pillow person and have had the hardest time finding a good one for side sleeping. Those that are the right height are usually too hard to rest my head and the ones that are good for my head aren't sturdy enough for laying on my side.I got this one over a week ago and it has been fantastic. It has both memory foam confetti and this really soft batting that is just the right mix. But the best part is that you can remove some of the filling until it's the prefect balance for you! It even comes with a bag to store the extra filling until you might need it again. The opening in the pillow is also great. It's not so big that it's hard to control the filling as you're pulling it out and it has a little extendable fabric sleeve thing so filling doesn't get stuck in the zipper (which is a really quality zipper as well). It's kinda hard to explain, but is a great feature. The cover of the pillow is also so so soft. I was tempted to not even use a pillow case because it was so nice against my face.It took me about 3 nights of adjusting until I found just the right filling amount and I have LOVED it since. So don't give up too soon, just play with the amount until you find your ideal.

Esta super comoda y se va amoldando a tu noche, se acomoda del cuello y cabeza conforme te vas moviendo. Al estar larga puedes girar en la cama y continuar en la almohada. Si tiene un olor medio a plastico al principio y las mega etiquetas pero eso se puede solucionar. Un excelente producto.

The pillow does have it's weight, but despite that, it's comfortable and soft, yet firm.In my case, as I sleep mostly on the side or belly up, I didn't felt the need to remove any filling, but having the option to do so and store it in the provided bag is a good option.

Layla claims a 120 return policy, but haven't got back to me after two requests. This pillow was not nearly as good as advertised and I would like my money back.
