2025 Motocaddy M7 Remote Ultra vs 2025 Alphard Cybercart
M7 vs CybercartThis is my 2nd M7 Remote cart. I purchased the the first one in 2023 (2022 model) and the latest one a few weeks ago (2025 model). I bought the 2025 at the reduced price $1,399. I sold the 2022 to my buddy when I joined a private club that provided riding carts with membership. My friend still uses the 2022 today and he has not had any problems with it. He uses it 3 times a week. I left the private club last July when I returned to Austin. I purchased the Alphard Cybercart bc it got cart of the year for 2025 just above the 2025 M7 Remote Ultra. I paid the promotion price of $1,199 for the Cybercart. I got rid of the Cybercart a few weeks ago after using 3-4 times a week for the past 6-7 months. It is a very good cart with better handling and stability than the 2025 M7 Ultra. The Cybercart has a gyroscope that works really well. This feature keeps the cart online and makes it more stable. The Cybercart also has a line of site feature between the cart and the remote. This makes it less likely that the cart will end up in a pond, ditch, pothole etc if you loose track of it. I was a little frustrated with this line of site feature because the cart would stop without any warning. The Cybercart is a better cart for the money. Also, even though the Cybercart twin motors were significantly less powerful than the M7 motors, the gyroscope and stable rear wheels allowed it to climb steep hills without falling over or steering off course compared to the M7. The M7 requires that you hold onto the handle to prevent it from tipping over when scaling steeper hills. This isn’t a big deal bc you only have to do it a few times a round depending on the course. What I really like about the M7 over other carts, including Cybercart, (this is my fourth electric trolley) is its speed, remote control range (over 100 yards), ease in opening and closing the cart, the bag mount clips, compactness when closed, pop-up charger port, 36-40 hole battery range, quick charging time if you charge after each round, it’s efficient and sleek design, the ease of removing and reversing wheels (if necessary) and Motocaddy’s outstanding technical support. Where I believe Motocaddy could make significant improvements to all their electric trolleys is to add a gyroscope as a basic feature (makes a noticeable difference in handling) and offer a small soft material storage bag for things like wallet, phone, a couple spare balls, and tees, in place of the very noisy and almost useless scorecard-ball holder. I highly recommend the Motocaddy M7 Remote Ultra. Finally, if you have the money to waste or you have this lying around, put a small power station in your trunk/cargo space with AC and DC ports. This allows me to charge my M7 and remote after every round without having to remove the M7 battery. One power station charge will charge your M7 for 1-2 months. Because I plug my power station into my 12 volt outlet in my trunk, I never have to remove the power station either. It’s worth spending a few hundred dollars on a power station.

Nice Product
I really love my Motocaddy. The people at Motocaddy have also been very supportive when I had an issue. Mine has tipped over quite a few times. You also need to be very careful not to put the remote in your pocket. I have done that several times only to look up and see the Caddy driving away! Store the remote on the caddy so you do not accidentally depress a button!

Does not have follow me mode
Several sources online, including ChatGPT show the M7 GPS to have follow me mode, it does not, I contacted Motocaddy directly. The item is not returnable through the Amazon seller, Motocaddy suggested I sell it.. (wt#) This is a big feature expected at this price point and they have made no efforts anywhere on their website to communicate that it does not have follow me mode

It glitches once in a while
I brought this to free up my mind during my golf round, but so far I have to put extra effort to make sure the cart is in the right track and doesn’t flip.(flipped multiple times because small bump, wheel base is too narrow compared to V2.)It also glitched out every once in a while. Cart is not reacting to the remote when adjusting speed or turning, so have to keep it in a range where you can catch up to just in case it glitched out.The worst about this is none returnable if you don’t like it. Highly recommend to buy it from the somewhere else where it would accept 30 day returns just in case you don’t like it.

Well built
The Moto Caddy is very well built and extremely easy to store and unfold. The battery gives at least 36 holes between charges. It rarely tips over. The various speeds are great. Downside is that the turning with the remote is much too sensitive. Also, the subscription for courses is totally unnecessary when so many devices provide the same information for free.

Nice caddy! SO MUCH EASIER TO WALK AND ENJOY THE ROUND!
I’ve used the caddy about 5-6 times and it’s very easy to use. Runs great, batteries charge up nicely and have lasted for 18 holes with no issues so far.Unit is already a bit noisy compared to the first few rounds. Rear-wheel makes a deep rumble when it spins through the deeper rough. Also, the overall motor sound seems a bit louder.GPS is a nice feature but it gets pretty hot in the sun during the round. Also, not the best screen to navigate when trying to pin point distances. Maybe I just need some more practice and some better eye sight. That being said, I will say the screen is bright and clear! One last thing, I currently have a carry bag and I am constantly hitting right and left buttons on the remote to keep the unit on track. This may improve with a cart bag, as weight distribution is hard to manage even while using the adjustments on the front wheels.Overall, great experience and I’d recommmend.

Delivery
Shipped by Canada Post, delivery person said it was too heavy to pick up so I had to unload it from the truck, luckily I was home. Item did not arrive on the scheduled date,, was late. Box had damage but product was ok. Suggest using a different carrier next time. I am happy with the cart and it works fine

Do NOT buy this, wish I could give it zero or less stars. much better options for MUCH less money.
This cart is garbage,1. The wheelbase is far too narrow, falls over constantly and ruined my new $400 golf bag2. The cart is much too light for the wheelbase making it prone to fall over if hits the smallest bump or pothole so don’t take your eyes off it.3. No storage to ad even a little weight to it.4. Far overpriced5. Doesn’t ever stop on its own so it can end up anywhere if you are not paying attention. Like in a pond or in someone else’s way. Personally I would rather be paying attention to my golf game than my stupid, cart.6. Will not give a refund if you have used it!! How do you know if you like it if you haven’t used it at all.7 confusing opening and closing instructions until you figure it out on your own8 veers left constantly, even after following instructions to make it run straight.9 no follow me option, who the hell knows why not.10 one good thing is the software, so far…..
