This fits in, powers up and connects to my phone no problem.It seems light and cheap but it works perfectly.It is also ELM 327 compatible, which is essential.I linked it with an app for diagnostics and then linked it with an app called "Carista" to make a couple of changes.It might seem like nothing, but my car requires me to press the unlock button twice to unlock the back doors. It gets annoying.Carista allowed me to change it so that all doors unlock with one press. I also changed the coming home light settings and set my car to "beep" when I unlock it, making it much easier to find when I inevitably forget where I parked in a supermarket car park.It's compatible with a huge number of apps, so take your pick.

Great product, works a treat

A very useful piece of kit if someone would like to enter the realm of car diagnostics.It plugs in to the OBD-port of cars younger than 2001 (I believe) and with a corresponding app on the phone (or any device) it scans everything that the car's computer processes through sensors.It can save a lot of money with error codes or just to know what issues there are behind a fault or a light.I also use it to monitor exhaust gas temp, DPF condition, etc. while my wife is driving.Connecting it can be a hit and miss (talking about a 2012 Golf), the port is under the steering coloumn as usual but it's either the port or this little thing has rough edges but it does not always connect properly.Apart from this it's a really useful tool, don't be afraid to get one even if you have no idea about car mechanics or electronics - there are always good ways to interpret the results.

I’ve been using this OBD2 scanner for a few days now and it works well for basic functions. It connects quickly, it reads/clears fault codes without issues. Live data for engine parameters like RPM, coolant temp, and O2 sensors is also available and helpful.However, I wasn’t able to access any information related to the air conditioning system — no compressor status, refrigerant pressure, or anything A/C-specific. It also seems to lack more advanced diagnostics like fuel trim data. Overall, it’s a solid tool if you just need to check engine codes and monitor basic live data. But if you're looking for deeper diagnostics or HVAC-related info, this scanner might be too limited.

Ideal for Renault/Dacia service reset using the car scanner app (one with the blue background and white engine icon) or using the “Dacia service reset app” the device does in fact have the PIC18F25K80 chip (photos attached) which allows this function to work.Recommend.

Really poor quality. Stopped working after using a couple times. Really disappointing!
