Fractal Design Ridge White - PCIe 4.0 riser card included - 2x 140mm PWM Aspect fans included - Type C USB - m-ITX PC Gaming Case

I love this case. Originally ordered a white one that got cancelled, and ended up going for the black version - a blessing in disguise, as it suits my setup very well. There is plenty of room for 4 x 2.5" SSDs, and the included 140mm fans ensure that my GPU is never starved of fresh air. The CPU on the other hand definitely runs hot - I've got a 3900X with a slim noctua fan. My solution has been to zip tie a 140mm fan to the exterior, which looks a bit odd, but does the trick. I've also recently moved the thing off of my standing desk, to underneath.If you want a thin case, you've got good cable management, and you want this case - you'll be happy with it. For high-end gaming, hot temps, and lots of storage, you're not in the right place. It's got its flaws, but for my use it's ideal.

From the packaging to the accessories, this product is really well made! It's by far the easiest case to disassemble/assemble i ever had! And it also includes a very useful step by step illustrated guide!The PCIe riser is solid and precise! Same quality as rackmount server risers that cost hundreds!It took less than a hour for me to assemble everything in the case, including organizing the cables. I have big hands, so, it's hard for me to work with compact stuff. Even with that, I had no issues to assemble all the components inside the case.The fans are silent and efficient. Overall, the case is very good for it's price. It's compact and have a good appearance, even if you use it as a home theater in the living room.The only thing you should be aware of it: You need a SFX sized power supply. ATX won't fit on the case. Also, this case is mini ITX only. It won't support Micro ATX mobos besides the description saying otherwise.

Amazing fantastic case, the sense of rewardingness is insane after you build it.For context this was my first ITX build and I loved every second of it.Space is tight yes and you have to be smart about somethings.My major issues with this case were:- 27mm thick CPU AIO (liquid) coolers will not fit at all depending on some GPU's. Im unsure if others have had luck with this but my RTX 2060 mini's housing was sticking out too much for the custom cooler to fit so I had to send it back and use the case fans. Im assuming if you had a low profile or used thinner fans on the cooling radiator, it may fit.- The Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 chromax.black, Low-Profile CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Black) I bought had a slight issue. You'll notice the two screws that go into the back are unable to go in due to the motherboard back frame covering a bit so the screws will NOT go in. I had to use my angle grinder to create a cut off edge, enough for a screwdriver to fit in the philps head but not enough to destroy integrity.- My motherboard was a gigabyte b550i and the front case panel comes with a USB connector and USB 3 connector. My mobo only came with one which was my own fault. So make sure your motherboard has support for this.- When installing the M.2 from the front side, if your M.2 sticks up too much, the screw is inside the screw (as dum as that sounds) so you need to get a thin nozzle plier and twist the screw out of the supporting socket so it sits flush with the cooling plate.Everything else was great. Cabling was quite fun as well, since you have ancor points so my build was quite neat and tidy.The only other issue is noise but using stock case fans can result in this. With time, I'll invest in proper cooling as right now I'm running in silent mode and getting a good temp.Overall a really good value for money and everything was great.

First of all, gpu temps are amazing in this case with the two stock fans facing the GPU. However, the stock fans are incredibly loud. Worth setting to silent mode in bios. They'll still pump more than enough air into the system.CPU temps however are a little harder to maintain. If you're going Intel I'd recommend the 65TDP CPUs. In my instance I used an i5 13400f. I'd recommend using the CPU cooler as an exhaust. Invest in some 60mm noctuas that you can fit by the front mesh panel, or I've even seen someone manage to fit a 60mm noctua at the bottom of the case, technically towards the top of the motherboard, as it's placed upside down. Use the 60mm as intake, CPU fan as exhaust. However I'd only suggest going through all of that if you're using a 125tdp CPU.The power connecter that goes from your psu to the back of the case, uses an extremely thick cable, with an extremely thick connector to the rear of the case. Which sounds great for build quality, but it made getting my cooler in a nightmare. I managed in the end, but others might not be so lucky with their cooler. I had to remove the connecter and squeeze it back in and screw it into place after installing the heatsink.Finally, if you're building for someone else, as I was, for my father, I wouldn't recommend this case. It will require regular cleaning as all the vents are just open holes with no mesh. I ended up getting magnetic mesh and attached them to the inside of the side panels, meaning my father can now just remove the side panels and clean them off, and that should keep the inside of the case from needing a clean for a long time.Once it's all built in, looks great. But yeah, the only nightmare building experience is with the power connector. The maintenance with cleaning will be a nightmare, and the stock fans, which are nice to be included, are extremely loud and will require a fan curve edit.

The idea for the build in this case was for a HTPC / living room games device. Irs a great SFF case allowing for a decent itx build inside whilst looking like a console and thus not out of place.I opted to use a 120mm aio with the AMD 5600x and temps are very good, the case is stood up with the ve tilation panels oriented so the fans can pull the air across the radiator. I also used 3 x 80mm fan's along one edge to provide more fresh airflow. We only used a single fan 1660ti which fitted very comfortably along side the aio setup.I would certainly recommend this case for anyone wanting to build an itx setup that resembles a console.

As title, great stand, keeps GPU (4090) very cool and CPU (7800x3d) relatively cool too. Everything is metal build apart from the vertical stand, which is flimsy plastic and has broken on first use, with the screw holes failing and the metallic joints at the base 'falling through' somewhat. This means that the case isn't very sturdy and, perhaps worse, it has left deep gouges in the desk it sits on.To be fair to Fractal, I contacted them and they are sending a replacement stand FoC, but this won't fix the significantly scratched desk.Maybe I was unlucky, although this is definitely not the first comment I have seen online about the flimsiness of the stand. Really let's the product down, which is a shame as otherwise really liking the case.

Used this case for my first pc.For a case this sleek it was simple to build in and offers a lot of space for fans, gpu's etc etc. I haven't had any temp issues using the default fans and they're hardly loud. The sides are easy to remove so you have great access to your parts. Great quality of build as well for the price. Definitely worth buying if you like the look and like sff pc's.

Great build quality overall,A true pain to cable manage in if you choose to fully load it with SSD's in the back panel. But that's what you sign up for when building in such a case.If you can get your hands on shorter run cables for your SFX power supply i would highly recommend itThe looks overall are great, the size can be compared to that of a PS5.Do note that you will need to manually adjust fan speeds in your BIOS or the noise level will be unbareable. I set them as low as possible so that i still had good airflow but couldn't hear the fans turning into a Turbojet.

Das Fractal Design Ridge hat mich in beiden Aspekten überzeugt. Platzbegrenzungen: Die maximale Höhe für CPU-Kühler beträgt 7 cm, was bei einigen Kühlsystemen Einschränkungen darstellen kann - aber sind wir mal ehrlich: wer das Gehäuse kauft, klopft sowas auch vorher ab.Mein Fazit:Das Fractal Design Ridge ist ein hervorragendes Gehäuse für alle, die ein kompaktes, optisch ansprechendes und funktional vielseitiges System aufbauen möchten. Die Kombination aus schlankem Design und modularem Aufbau macht es zu einem idealen Begleiter für den Alltag. Trotz einiger kleiner Einschränkungen, wie dem Preis und den begrenzten Staubfiltern, überzeugt das Ridge durch seine hervorragende Kühlleistung und die einfache Montage.Für mich ist das Ridge ein perfektes Beispiel dafür, wie ein Gehäuse sowohl formvollendet als auch funktional sein kann. Bei mir lief es mit einem MINISFORUM BD790i SE mit AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX nahezu lautlos. Das Gerät bietet aber natürlich auch durch die Möglichkeit länge und leistungsstarke Grafikkarten einzubauen die Chance ein echtes Powerhouse aufzubauen. Von mir gibt es auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne, ich habe "mein" Gehäuse endlich gefunden.

Nice case, good room for larger video cards, decent air flow. I chose the thermal right ap120 in an am4 itx board and a 6700xt. Read the instructions before you build to avoid confusion or headaches, its easy to build in if you take out the correct screws

It's one of the easiest cases I've built in, taking just over an hour from unboxing everything to getting it operational, and by far one of the best for maintenance and dust cleaning as the side panels use one thumbscrew per presuming you dont unscrew them and keep the screws off (the peg latches still lock the panels firmly to the chassis). While there were some signal issues with the stock riser bracket and extender card, the 5cm Linkup straight riser is a good replacement if you encounter signal issues and dont want a bracket replacement and/or want support for future gen 5 pcie gpus.It's a good case that rewards you IF* your build is done right, not merely throwing parts in it (those who blame the case for their bad thermals often suffer due to a low capacity or undersized cpu cooler or an open air gpu exhausting into the motherboard region....or both), and you have the right type of gpu, not merely size (horizontal finstack gpus such as axial hybrids and blower cards are better for this case vs open air), proper ram height for a high capacity lp cooler (ram height determines clearance of what cooler you can fit), and get the right psu for easy cable management, this case certainly does deliver.Now ultimately it's up to whoever to figure out their build, but for my 9800x3d and modified 5060, I found my gpu did best without the stock aspect 140s, which turned this build whisper quiet for normal operation and gaming. I also run an axp120x67 with a Silverstone air slimmer 120 fanswap, Corsair sf750 atx 3.1 (which made tying everything into one neat bundle tucked into an airflow deadzone easy), Rog Strix b850i, and 2x 16gb flare x5 in cl36 config, alongside system and bios tuning, and phazesheet ptm. Idles are 40c cpu, 25c gpu, and gaming temps at 50-70w cpu are 55-70c, and 90c max at 163w, with gpu temps running 35-64c from 40w to 110w and 70c max at 110% power/160w.Overal, its a great case for its price, especially if you're looking to make a diy ps5 or midsized desktop console/diy steam machine, and its backside sata mounts make it easy to fit 2 satas for general data storage.

Looks great, but thermals in this case is something to be aware of.Using a 5070Ti and 7500X3D, the GPU stays at great temps with the two out take fans right above it but cooling the CPU is not as simple.Even with a 7500X3D at 65watts it gets really hot, using a 7800X3D or such at 100w+ is not something I would do in this case cause the temps would throttle the performance alot.I added a Noctua 60mm running 75% fan speed next to the MB as exhaust and got temps down from 85c+ to 75c-ish. This is with PBO -10 and a Noctua NH-L12S at 100% fan speed
