Where has this stuff been all my life?
I'm reasonably compulsive about keeping my car clean, inside and out, the exterior polished and waxed to near-perfection, or as near as possible given my daily driver is now two decades old. Over the years I have tried many, many tire treatment products - spray on liquids and foams and creams from all the usual suspects like Armor All, 3M, Meguiars, Eagle One, Griot's... on and on. The sprays are a pain - you have lots of cleaning up to do after each application. The wipe on treatments I've tried before seem to leave way too much sticky residue and are prone to getting thrown around the first time you drive away. And no matter what I've tried, nothing seems to be very durable - I would have to treat my tires every few days to maintain the look I want, and often I can't get around to doing that. Holy cow, as Scooter would say -- why didn't I try this stuff before? It's a gel, it's concentrated and it really does the job. Apply it with a clean rag, or with one of those curved foam applicators you will see here on amazon (look at the Eagle One applicators that amazon sells in two packs - you can get a dozen for less than a ten spot). I put a small amount on a rag and massage it into the sidewall of a clean, dry tire. Let it sit overnight. Wipe it with another cloth to remove any excess - there won't be much -- and to buff it to a bit more of a shine. You will have a nice smooth surface on your tires -- sort of a semi-gloss finish like a new tire. You will not have tire gel thrown onto your rims, wheel wells and paint when you drive off. And you will have clean, semi-glossy tires for quite a long time. I last applied Sonax to my Pilot Super Sports two weeks ago, and we have had more than our share of rain (and hail!). The tires still look pretty darned nice, after three or four washes and a good bit of foul weather driving. In short, this is the best tire treatment I've ever used. It may seem pricey, but a little goes a long way, and I don't think the cost per application is more than the competition. It's GREAT.

Good balance of appearance and durability
As some of the lower rated reviews mention, it goes on fairly unevenly and builds up in grooves and around letters on the tire. If you don't get it out, it'll sling when driven. So after I apply (with a regular sponge) I quickly brush over the tire with a medium-soft plastic-bristle parts cleaning brush (like a heavy-duty paint brush). That pulls it out of the grooves and spreads it better. Then after several minutes, I lightly wipe down with a rag just to reduce the excess. Like others said, this doesn't leave the super-gloss finish, but it looks good, lasts longer and doesn't sling. I have five cars, all treated regularly, and this bottle lasts me almost a year.

My New Favorite Tire Dressing
Okay, I've used brands that leaves a foam, brands that are sprayed on, brands that tell you to sponge it on, and every one of them had something less than desirable. This is more like a goo, with a viscosity slightly thicker than a cooking oil; which most people should be familiar with. The goo actually stays on the tire and wasn't all over the side of the car when you drive away, some of you might know what I'm talking about if you happened to use some watery dressings in the past. The shine on it seems to last longer and it really does give it a showroom shine, which is a shame given the scratches, road rashes, and dents in the alloy rim; one curb too many. If you're looking for your next favorite tire dressing, this is it, just don't try and cook with it or put it on a salad. Though the blue goo looks like it'd be a nice popsicle this is best served on your tires.

Trust me, this stuff does spray off when you drive.
It does stay on a long time, perhaps I did not let it sit long enough, it did spray all over after driving. There was no indication how long to let dry, I had it on for at least 3 hours. I just had to rewash my truck and it was fine. I don't think one bottle will last as long as they claim, I can see me getting maybe 4 to 5 uses out of this bottle. ( all 4 33" tires). But I think it is worth the money, my tires really look great for days.

makes the tires look nice to me
I have 4 different so called the "best" tire gels in my collection. This is the best by far from Germany. You have to "massage" it into the sidewalls. It lasts for 3-4 weeks and longer than any other I have tried in the last 7 years. Before that it was amour all and other various brands. So this works for me.

Much easier to use than spray
For years, I have been using sprays and foams to clean my tires only to lose the shine in about a day. Sonax gel goes on easily (I recommend Chemical Guy foam wheel applicators) and the gel looks great and stay on several days. Minimal splatter on the sides of the cars. I always apply after washing the car\wheels and putting down a layer of quality matte spray. I wipe the matte spray off and apply the Sonax gel and let it sit for a couple hours. Turns out perfect!

Last for a while and looks good
This is a good tire shine formula. You will get a little bit of a splash on pant if you drive immediately after applying or if it rains close to when you applied and you drive. However, just have some detail spray that does not require a rinse to wipe off the spot on the paint. Usually only happens once after application then it no longer splashes on paint, but the tire stay looking nice.

Excelente calidad.
Excelente duración y brillo, no se usa tan poco como dice la publicación o videos tutoriales pero su duración compensa este hecho.
